Everything was nice. Walk distance to Stanford Shopping Center. Nice people, service, and location. Railroad noise, floor noise is annoying, but earplugs were provided

Not bad. It seems to be renovated recently and is clean. However, its maintenance is a bit problematic. The coffee machine is not in a usable condition. The breakfast is very brief. Unless you hang "make up room" tag on the door, there's no housekeeping service. Hopefully it improves on the next visit.

It was comfort and good place for everybody.
Breakfast is great than I expected!!
A fruit cup(strawberry, blackberry, blueberry mix), vanilla yogurt, english muffin with ham&cheese, etc. And its coffee ( seattle’s best coffee ) is also excellent!!

It's nice place to stay at the Palo Alto area since its location and clean room. However it is somewhat noisy since the hotel is just near the road and railway.

Staff were friendly & rooms clean. The beds weren’t the best and frames a little cheap. They made a lot of noise with any movement. There was night construction which was pretty loud from our room. The breakfast was decent and staff very attentive to the food and cleanliness.

Unfortunately the noise from the main road is very loud and pretty constant. They do supply ear plugs which tells you lots. Laura the front desk and Jess the breakfast girl and the housekeeping ladt were great...the manager not so much.

This BW Riviera was a surprisingly awesome. Staff are wonderful and the room we had. Wow! Maybe just updating the bathroom but I report no negatives.
I have been to many hotels around the world including overwater bungalow to wooden structure in Afghanistan and this was one place that I blurted "wow"
It served our needs as far as location and this place was a delightful surprise. Will stay here over the other higher tier places.
That coffee machine was the clutch though.

I have never had an issue staying a hotel but over the last week was horrible. Caring for my sick grandmother at Stanford driving back and forth I would hope to get some quiet, not the case people stomping above me, people running passed my door, and yelling all through the late hrs. When I was asked how my stay was I told them horrible and the front just stared at me and just asked me if I wanted my receipt didn’t ask what happened or anything. The only person that did her job very well was the lady at the breakfast counter she was apologetic when the simplest things didn’t go right and went to fix it right away. I unfortunately don’t recommend this felicity

We chose the property based on price and proximity to university campus. I was expecting a typical drab and frumpy motel. What we found was a clean, cheerful property well maintained with freindly staff. The room was clean, smelled fresh and inviting. Considering the locales, a good value for the money

Thermostat was turned off when I arrived and the room was very cold. It took some time to warm up. Also lukewarm water in the shower both mornings of my stay. Disappointing. Great location, however.
