Comfortable room, food and drink as well as gaming on premises. We stay here whenever we are in the area. Lots of nice food specials in Katies coffee shop.

We stopped here for one night between ski days. The property is well maintained and pleasing to stay. Renovated room was good. Insulation is awesome as we did not even need to turn on heater for night with temperature outside being below 40F. Katie's Country Kitchen was fantastic for dinner and breakfast! Prices are very reasonable with dish sizes being more then generous. Casino was ok if you are looking to have some fun to complement your stay. Overall, we would recommend this place and plan staying there again in the future.

Was ok. Got there at check in time and was told it was still an hour wait for our room or we can take a smaller bed now. So we took the queen beds instead of waiting for our king. Could not get a reservation for the steak house so we settled for Katies. Was ok. But bed was comfy and prices are reasonable.

Accommodations were nice. My only complaint. Is that they did not provide shampoo or body lotion, but had three containers of hair conditioner . When I asked, they said they discontinued the use of the other items several weeks ago. Sooo … be sure to bring your toiletries

The first floor of the rooms still smells like smoke even though it’s a non smoking room. Bed is hard as a bored! Super noisy, you can hear all the kids running around the top floor from the pool. Don’t stay on the 1st floor if you want to have a good night sleep!

We wanted to check out Neveda but was also interested in spending a day or two at South Lake Tahoe so we choose this. It was a nice easy drive ( as long as no snowing conditions ) the first day but it was quite scary when there was heavy snow the second day especially at night. We had an AWD Tesla Y with snow tires so it was okay. Added bonus was their EV charging so I didn't have to go out and charge our car. Thanks for having EV charger Carson Valley Inn.

Staff was nice really no complains there. But room cleanliness was an 7 I would say. There was hair in the shower mind you I was the first one to shower therefore I notice it.

The front desk was super quick in checking us in. Our room is clean and updated. The onsite restaurant Katie’s staff were efficient and attentive. We ordered the Friday and Saturday special $25 prime rib 14oz, seared just right medium rare. We definitely will be back next time.

Our stay was amazing. The property is clean, all of the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating - from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the custodians working at the pool to the housekeeping staff - everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We traveled with children and we felt extremely safe the entire time. We were able to walk to downtown Minden and CVI is extremely close to trails, bowling, Carson City, Geno and Tahoe. We ate at the steakhouse one night and we were so impressed - it was a great experience. Overall, it was a great stay!

Very quaint homey feel. Lovely staff. Just remember it’s attached to a casino. So the place smells of cigarette smoke. Our room was smoke free. So we had that oasis. But coming and going from the room we had to deal with the smoke.

The hotel was excellent! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The food at the restaurants was amazing, especially the steakhouse, which truly stood out. The pricing was very reasonable for travelers. I can’t emphasize enough how impressed I was with the quality of the rooms!
