Its walkable for the football games. They have a hearty breakfast, staff is nice. I would stay again for any football game at IU or graduation.

For the price, this hotel is a quick go to. No frills room. Tap water was rusty for the first 20 seconds or so before it became clear. Cigarette policy was strange as ever (don’t smoke so didn’t matter but strange).

The room was clean, spacious, and decently comfortable. They offer the standard toiletries (which smelled really nice!). The pillows were a little flat, but that was counteracted by offering 2 pillows per sleeper. You can tell that it's an older property (just a little run-down, not really modern decorations), and definitely not a 5-star hotel, but since that's not what we were looking for, we were fine with that. Everything was well cared for, public areas were clean & inviting. They have a wall of games and books for kids in the lobby! That was a VERY nice addition, and not something you see in most hotels.

Very nice breakfast. Bathtub is a potential for injury as the tub didn't have any non-slip material on the bottom. I would have liked to have a hairdryer available, but didn't try asking for one from the front desk..

The staff is super friendly. I would stay here again. We were told we were being upgraded, however, i pd for a room w a view on the second/third floor and was supposedly upgraded. However our supposed upgrade was parking level which i did not want. So not much of an upgrade, more of a downgrade so they kept everyone on ground level. The room is fine and the bed is comfy but due to security we moved the lounge chair and garbage in front of the door for safety because i do not like others being right in front of my room. It was clean and good for the price and stay. I'd stay again

The Cascades is a very nice, updated old-style motel. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The room sizes and styles vary. We have stayed there twice. The first room we stayed in had a more updated and larger bathroom. The second time it was more standard to the hotels era. Smaller but still well maintained. The furniture is update along with the televisions. The hotel has a nice courtyard and a bar on site that serves food. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is pretty simple. Most importantly it is a very good value and comfortable place to stay close to but not on the IU campus.

Doesn't look like much from the outside and it is a Motel, but the rooms are clean, big and comfortable. I would stay here again. Location is great if you want to walk to an IU game.

Cascades Inn is a unique place. It's rooms are comfortable. Beds & Sheets great. It's a little Bohemian and we'd love to stay when the courtyard is blooming. Adequate Continental breakfast. Try Sneakers bar adjacent for a nice drink, bar food and pleasant staff.
