Front desk staff looked unkept - checked in. The room was spacious and ok. I checked the ice bucket and it had candy and candies rappers. Took it to the front desk and the manager took it and washed it out and gave it back to me. The next incident was that the electrical power went out at approximately 5 Am but after waiting a half-hour nothing happened. We went downstairs and the front desk staff said power went out due to weather. They did not have any contingency plan for breakfast. ( We are supposed to get breakfast for our Stay but they didn't even have a bottle of water to gave anyone. I saw some elderly guest in the breakfast are and not dry food or fruits were provided. I called around and they Hyatt which was 5-7 minutes away had Power because they had a generator. Booked the Hyatt because I had a conference to attend and the room was dark and nothing was provide to the me. I went to the front desk the agent said that I would get a full refund. I make sure to tell her to check me out she said yes. If happens that I leave my laptop in the room and I want to pick it up .upon arrival I pick up the laptop and I asked the manager about the refund she said the manager side that the owner of the property said they will not give me a full refund because it was an act of God. I Found out from Lay Texan that almost all homes has a generator because of the weather conditions here I told the manager that even Third world countries have generator on their property.

Had a bad tornado in Grand Prairie Texas, they had no generator! So as I was showering electric went out water went cold. Locked out of room 3hs, electric off 14 hrs of my stay. Food in mini refrigerator went bad, there wasn’t hot breakfast or cold

My friends and I came down to view homes so we stayed at here at comfort suites it was very comfortable and clean the staff was very friendly. I would stay again

Had a good stay at Comfort Suites Grand Prairie. The hotel was conveniently located, clean and quiet. No complaints.

Owner cancelled my reservation before I arrived. Never called or talked to me. After a long travel day I had to find another place to stay last minute.

Meh. Low rent facility. Wouldn’t stay there again. Plus they gave us a wheelchair accessible room which was just weird. Closet door wouldn’t close because it was hanging off the hinges. Pillows were tiny. Food was limited…powdered eggs and sausage rounds. Coffee machine was the most positive part of the hotel stay.

Nice stay with two kids, staff was nice and helpful. there was roaches in the room though. So we had to switch rooms

Customer service was very poor, not friendly. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, but I would feed it to a stray dog. The room needed a deeper clean, they really need glade to make it smell better.

The place was clean and furniture was in good condition. My only complaint is the bed was too hard. But that’s a personal preference.
