The bed & sheets were nice. Even though the friendly staff brought us a second remote we couldn’t get either the ancient tv to work properly. The hot tub was warm but no jets worked. The construction, we weren’t advised about, stayed at 9am with drilling. Traffic noise on street side was loud as well.

They charge For EVERYTHING at this location - coffee, parking etc. Bathroom sink was not very useable since the mirror was mounted in such a way that made it difficult to move the lever enough to get more than a trickle of water. Constant noise from gym door slamming…

the room was clean but the best thing about this hotel was its staff! Annalise at the front desk was so warm and inviting! She helped me with a snag in my reservation and made me feel right at home! This hotel has a bar that actually stays open the times they say they are and Jacob, the bartender working was personable and professional! I had stayed at another hotel in Bloomington the night before and really regretted not staying here the two nights! I will be back for sure!

Only complaint is that my room was very close to the laundry shoot and I kept hearing banging for hours in the morning. Then the washers after that.

And the price of the room was extremely elevated for the weekend. We paid $850 for a king size room. Definitely not worth it. The shower was not clean and had hair in it. The towels were stained, and I am not sure they were freshly laundered.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Property was the worst Courtyard I’ve ever stayed in. TV was from 2005, cable was analog (really?), no premium channels, room was super dated, king mattress had a very noticeable slump where clearly everyone sleeps on the side closest to the tv. Bathroom was dated. Lighting was poor. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express the night before (for half the price) that made the Courtyard Bloomington seem like a third world country. Not worthy of the Mariott brand name, and certainly not worth $300/ night. I’m a loyal Bon Voy member, but I won’t be returning to this property. And fyi- I never leave bad reviews.

Got surprised by $50 up front damage deposit and separate $11 parking fee. Not a fan of dim mood lighting in lobby. Makes reading lips for the hard of hearing unnecessarily difficult at check in. Not a bad stay, but did not quite measure up to previous experience here.
