Days Inn by Wyndham Ashland

We knew we had got a lower star hotel because it was just a quick trip overnight but I have stayed in two to three star Days Inns before and they were good this one was not the property around it was disgusting and really sketchy I was very uncomfortable when I got into the rooms because me and a friend had a joining rooms we had two the room smelled so bad and it smelled of weed yes I had gotten a smoking room but this was really bad it was gross you could see nicotine dripping from the walls it was dirty there were holes where people had punched holes in the walls and then we started finding a couple small little cockroaches running around the floor then we found one in the bed then we found a bunch of dead cockroaches around the corners I had left to go and pick somebody up to come back we hadn't even been in the room for 30 minutes yet and I got a call that my friend had found bed bugs in the bed with her child so we immediately got all of our stuff out of the room and I have a video of the bed bugs and went downstairs we showed them the video they did not argue with us at all we showed them the pictures of the Cockroaches they did not argue with us at all they immediately refunded us but this property was horrible I mean absolutely horrible this was ghetto slum horrible

We got two rooms the one room had roaches and the floor was uneven and coming up not safe for children the other room was In cleaner and better condition

The owner of the property is racist they look at your the the -thethe l I to not suppose to stay there they have

Roaches of all sizes all over the room. Dirty. Worn down and damaged walls and floors. Told front desk and was offered another room. Second room was dirtier than the first and saw more roaches. Went back to front desk and asked for a refund. The guy was nice and helped me figure that process out. Crazy this place is still open in the condition it's in. Glad I checked the rooms before I took my belongings inside.

Bugs everywhere - ceiling, floor, walls, climbing the bathroom tub. Didn’t matter if the lights were on or off.

In the first room, we saw a roach on our bed and one in the bathroom. The clerk moved us to a second room. The moment we walked in the door, there was a roach on the window drape. She moved us to a third room. No roaches but the smoke alarm gave a “chirp” every minute throughout the night. This usually happens when the battery needs to be replaced. By that time we were too tired to complain. This is not to ask for a refund. When I was still working I stayed in Wyndhams frequently, and they were all excellent. I am shocked that they would have a property like this Days Inn that is so poorly kept. John D. Myers

Exactly what i expected for the price.

Will never book a room at this property again. Very dirty room with lots of different bugs.

The staff was really great and concerned about the welfare of guests. The rooms have been remodeled probably to be made more sanitary(carpets pulled up, beds moved). The bedsheets appeared clean and were reasonable for sleeping. There were roaches. There's an abandoned motel on the backside of the property (fenced in and pretty creepy/sketchy looking).

First room Key didn't work and Fire Alarm chirping. Second room the toilet ran periodically. And there was no toilet paper The shower was hard to adjust

Staff was super nice! Loved the fog free, lighted makeup mirror!
