Deluxe Inn San Antonio

Staying there was like something out of a horror movie. We are quite used to low priced budget motels but nothing prepared us for the filth, disrepair, and BUGS. I went to dry my hands on a hand towel hanging on the wall, and there was a giant 2 inch roach on the wall behind it, scaring the crap out of me. We saw other giant roaches as well as many cockroaches, ants, spiders, various types of bugs. We were waiting for our property to close escrow and had paid for a block of time in advance and really couldn't afford to leave and pay again for a new motel but we were extremely close to just leaving anyway. One night as my husband was unloading a few groceries from the car into the room, a prostitute solicited him right in front of me. Needless to say that didn't end well. But that's the kind of slimy place it is. They don't wash the towels, BTW. The "white" towels were all various shades of yellow. Gross! The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. We would have been better off sleeping in our car for free, it really was that disgusting. We stayed there in June 2022, over 2 years ago, and I'm still affected by it. Out of all the many budget motels we have stayed at over many states and over many years, this place was the absolute worst. Avoid at all costs! 0/10

The drug-addicted-individul roaming the property did not inspire feelings of safety. The towel bar was falling off the wall. The mirror for the bathroom had been moved and mounted in the bedroom wall. The tub was scary. I want to believe the black stain was from the water - at least based on the stains in the toilet.

Absolutely disappointed with my recent experience at Hotel Despite having a confirmed reservation well in advance, upon arrival I was informed they had no room available for me. The staff offered a vague apology and a recommendation for another hotel miles away. This left me stranded and scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which was incredibly stressful, especially since we all are need of a room due to extremely tired of all day visit of San Antonio sights and scenes.

They committed fraud, the room was total disgust, the service was terrible, the air was not working, a smell of a dead animal. They did not want to accept my cancellation and kept $70 as a deposit. (I immediately left there) It is theft and should not be on these pages.

If I could put zero starts I would. The worst experience ever. First clue should have been when the front desk insisted on CASH for the deposit. Bathroom was filthy, sheets were stained, paint peeling off of walls, mold in shower, holes in curtains, AC (which was loud and squeaky and kept us up most of the night) stopped working overnight. After complaining the next morning and cancelling the rest of our stay, they kept our deposit because we were checking out late (10:30 instead of 10). WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Cuando nos quedamos ningún día hubo internet, te decían que tenías que caminar para agarrarla pero cuando la agarrabas no tenía internet. La habitación siempre huele a humedad. El agua de la alberca es fría.

Completely filthy and gross. The hotel does not match the photos on the app. We were skeptical at first but decided to try anyways. My husband went to the room and it smelt of cigarettes, the carpet was stained, shower not cleaned, furniture broken. I didn’t even walk in before my husband escorted me back to the car. We ended up booking somewhere else. Now trying to get our money back is a hassle. The number for the hotel is not working and can’t call for a refund. I set to pay at the hotel and when we get there they told me it was already paid for. Hotels.com said the hotel took it out. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

It was more run down than the what it looks like online. While the person on duty was nice, the room was sketchy looking. Smelled clean but really needed to be updated. One light worked and had to be unplugged to turn it off. The phone in the room had a cut line and the lights by the bed did not work. The person at the front desk was very kind when we decided to check out a day early. There are also a lot of unknown fees that are not on the website.

I am just surprised which department approved this property for hospitality. Itvis totally mess 1. Floor carpet was very dirty. 2. Bed was broken, you even cant set on it. 3. TV was not working 4. Microwave was broken. 5. No iron in room. 6. Tub is broken and its patches was there and tabs are also in bad conditions 7. When you want to complain for this and pick up phone, phone was un attached and no wire. So with all these issues i dont think, this property shoud approved for any hospitality.

I would first like to say that the staff was very nice and helpful. One thing I did NOT like was that they require you to pay an additional sixty dollars for a deposit. This information is Not listed ANYWHERE and at just over a hundred dollars a night, you might as well book a nicer hotel room like motel six . I Asked for a non smoking room and while the room didn't smell like smoke, there were cigarette burns in the sheets / bedding. The pillowcases were dirty, one had blood on it like if someone with bad acne used it last. There was mold in the bathroom, a hole in the tub, the shower curtain rod had been rehung so many times there was multiple holes in the wall and the shower curtain hung 3-4 inches AWAY from the tub so water went everywhere. They only give you half a roll of one ply toilet paper & The AC unit never got the room above 75 . The TV requires you to login with your own TV service , you don't get any channels, not even the news. The only plus is that it's not too noisy. But another con is that the balcony on the second story is cracked and leans like it's about to just fall off the building entirely.

The tv only have 2 channels, the whole room was dirty and falling apart, from the walls to the furniture and carpets, the towells, are in bad shape, and with spots, one of the towells look like was use for a mechanic to clean his hands, the blanked on the bed have spot and cigarrette burns, people wake me up at 2 am screaming in the parking lot, may be d....g or p....... very bad experience, i dont think i use yor search engine again, this hotel should be close, out of service.

Did not stay, cancelled my stay. A/C was dirty, moldy, unsanitary, sheets were strained and looked dirty, carpet was filthy, shower and bath had rust and corrosion, no towels were provided, and no tp. Do not recommend.

I like staying at this property because of the location and security on call that securs the property while you sleep. So I have booked online using hotels.comover 30 days straight which now makes me a tenant. I asked the hotel management about the tax exemption and I was told that since I payed online and through hotels.com that I would have to talk to Hotels.com about being reambursted which this website does not include the U.S.to be. after speaking to a supervisor from this website . So I would like for someone in corporate to fix this issue or I will submitt my complaint to the Department of Justice with the ADA and Disability Act conserning this websites case on discrimination on equality.

Buena atención en recepción, pero la limpieza muy mala, nos salieron cucarachas en la habitación

First room I was given was not ready. There were no sheets on either bed, or phone in the room to call and report the issue. I had to go to the office. Second room smelled awful, carpet was disgustingly dirty. Less than half toilet paper roll was in the bathroom ,no extra. 2 towels were on the counter that’s it! Curtains were not closing, had to do my best to close them. Also no phone in room. It was 10:30 when we got a knock on the door telling us they would charge a $1 a minute if we did not check out on time. Check out was at 11:00 am. I had to wait for a receipt of my stay so the secretary could take care of other people although I was there first. Never again!
