My room wasn’t,t made up and I had to go back down to get another room.

Fire alarm went off multiple times during the night.

Sam at check in was great, check in time was an hour later than the website stated, and we ended up waiting until 5 pm To check in, supposedly with an upgrade-not though. Two beds instead of king, and the bathroom didn’t seem to have been cleaned in a LONG time….mold, a lot of mold, no magnifying mirror which I thought was standard these days. Everything had a layer of dust, the hvac was ancient, but Sam the front desk employee did give us a late checkout…. And tbh, I felt like the mgr prob had the front desk give us this crappy room because we got such an incredible rate vs what they can normally get for their rooms.

Need more attention

What I would like to share with you, take a little more time on the details of the rooms, like for instance, change out the toilet seats and remove the old caulk from around the countertops and put new caulking around it. Then pay attention to the furniture that’s inside of each room, by addressing the cosmetic issues that’s on them, like chopped off paint and adjusting the doors on it so that it will not rub up against it to cause any damages. When we originally attempted to “check in” as we were getting into town (approx 1pm) we walked into the hotel and the front desk female clerk, blew in our face like we were a “problem” to her. We asked about availability and she told us that she could not tell us if they had any availability as they were not able to see that until housekeeping puts in the “clean rooms”. So we would have to come back at 3pm to see if there was Availability - which she stated was check in time anyways. We left, got on hotels.com and booked directly through them immediately with no issue. We checked in at 3pm and the new front desk clerk was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The only other issue we had during the stay was that my husband has a feather allergy. We usually are able to acquire foam pillows at any other hotel; however, when I called down to housekeeping as well as the front desk we were told that they do not have those. I explained that it was an allergy issue and not a preference but they could not help. We then had to uber to Walmart and buy our own pillows to sleep with. (An opinion would be to get this as an option for people like my husband who cannot be near them).

My stay was not anything that i expected from such a picture grand supposed to be nice hotel. I choose this hotel to do my birthday staycation and it was my very first time staying there and my experience was awful! I am in a wheelchair and nothing was accommodating to me on my very first night. The only nice people was the front desk. Everything else was horrible!

Historic yet updated. Enjoyed my stay!

The hotel itself and the surrounding areas are lovely. The parking garage is a little bit difficult to maneuver and when we got there at 5 o’clock to check in, they told us that they were short staffed on housekeeping, and our room wouldn’t be ready for a couple of hours so we had to go eat dinner early and come back. We got back at seven and our room was ready at that time. They were telling everybody at 5 o’clock to come back in about 2 hours so it wasn’t just us. Our check-in time was 3 o’clock, so I don’t know what we would’ve done if we had gotten there at the actual check in time. Other than that, the stay was very nice.

Decor strange old very outdated rooms stuffy

I liked the convenient location. The check in was pleasant, in fact all staff encountered were friendly. The bed was comfortable and there are shops and dining in walking distance. However the hotel is quite worn and outdated. Although my room was apparently updated, it was in need of maintenance and good housekeeping. I hope one day this hotel will get a good renovation.

Upon arriving i was welcomed by a nice young lady that made sure my check in went as expected.

I have stayed here more than 3 times. This last time it was a very good experience. Friendly staff, room ready on time, clean room and all great overall.

Property is need of maintenance and repair in the rooms. Water damage in shower ceiling, worn furniture

We were evacuating last minute from Hurricane Milton. Price was exorbitant for one night $340 tax $26 to park. When asked if this is the normal price, the woman working the desk said “Welllllll it’s really busy so yes, the price does go up for football games and storms” This is called PRICE GOUGING and it is illegal during storm evacuations. On top of it, the entire property has a musty smell, and the floors were slimy. Personally, I can’t wait to NOT return to Tallahassee ever again.

A little dated

Hotel was fine

No central AC in hotel, but rather there was a wall unit that makes really loud noises. Security is also non-existent in this hotel. You can get to any floor without a guest room key, and you can even enter from the garage directly to the guest floors without a guest key. There were displaced people in the lobby at checkout at 7am and the staff did not appear concerned. Also, I was there for 3 nights and only received housekeeping service once. The coffee shop is closed, but there is no signage explaining that and the website still advertises a coffee bar serving Starbucks coffee. The restaurant is advertised as open until 10pm, but in fact closes much earlier around 8am.
