Great hotel for the price. Lets be honest, its a cheap hotel and the building is old, but for the money it was very nice. They took time in trying to make it look better when they remodeled it.

It was clean, the person who checked me in was really nice. There was some really loud music outside in the middle of one of the nights. Walls are kinda thin. Was able to hear upstairs neighbors and then ones next door having adult time haha

Very convenient location for catching the street car and is even great for walking into downtown Portland. Just follow Burnside to the other side of the river and you're there!

The staff was attentive and friendly. I have stayed here a few times. For the second night, I asked to move to a room that was quieter, as I had been given a room that happened to be by the main laundry room where the maids worked out of and there was activity in the morning. I was given a new room without so much as a second thought, which I truly appreciated. Overall, even though I live in the Portland area, when I want to get away and do my own thing, with no children around, this is the motel to choose!! Thanks for a great stay!

The heater did not work. It was very cold at night. The floor heater was off, and the wall ac heater only blew cold air. So it was a uncomfortable cold sleep. But overall it was a nice place.
