The location was fabulous for a student to move in CUIMC. I stayed before settling down with my dorm. It is just 10 min away by walk and has beautiful view. I really enjoy my stay and I would definitely recommend this to everyone who comes to visit me.

The view of the city from our room was amazing ! The staff was wonderful, kind, compassionate and helpful. In the future, I will NOT use Expedia as the people that I reached out to regarding a death in our family that required a cancellation was ignored. The hotel was more than happy to refund or credit our stay however, Expedia lied and said that they were unable to reach the hotel. The hotel received NO communication from Expedia. I will be deleting my Expedia app and I will share this information with anyone I know. I will in the future reach out to the hotel on my own.

Dominic was very helpful and proactive to make our experience the best. He made us feel we were family. The hotel so close to Mil Hospital made it a perfect location. The beds were so comfortable we took a photo of the brand as we want one at our home. Would stay again without hesitation.

The staff that checked me in on Sunday evening (26Jan2027) was rude and unprofessional.

For a hospital stay at Columbia Pres. Good location Easy 3 block walk to hospital. Great Deli right up the street. Great price.

What a great little hotel in the Bronx/Washington Heights. The staff is really friendly and helpful -- warmly welcomed me and even pushed the call bell for the elevator. Room is small (it's NYC) but clean and my room had a big beautiful window looking out at the Manhattan skyline in the distance. Im here for work and when I come back, I'm definitely staying here again.

The Edge is truly a hidden gem! While the space in our room was small, it was thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable, making it a great place to relax during our trip. We also loved the stunning skyline view from our room—it added a special touch to our stay. The staff were fantastic, greeting us warmly every time we entered or exited the property, which made us feel genuinely welcome. Although we didn’t use the amenities, they were clearly explained to us, and it was nice to know where everything was located. The hotel’s location is unbeatable! There’s a charming bodega within walking distance where we enjoyed delicious food at great prices, as well as a smoothie spot right next door. Plus, the subway is just one block away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. This hidden gem delivered exactly what we needed: comfort, convenience, and a touch of charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a simple yet satisfying stay in the city!

I have stayed here multiple times because of it’s proximity to the Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital and have always found it perfect for my needs.

Room was kinda small but it was walking distance to the Columbia facility I needed to go to so that was perfect. Staff very friendly and accommodating and knows the are well and could direct me where to get whatever I wanted. It’s also one of the newer buildings in the area. Definite would recommend for sort stays !!!!!!!!

This property is on the list of places to stay if you need to with a family member in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. It was perfect! Super clean. Staff could not have been nicer. My husband was in surgery, and they let me check in early so I could drop my bags. Room was perfectly outfitted. Really took care of my needs during a stressful period.

Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were small, but efficient and clean.

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally nice and accommodating for my needs. The area had nice restaurant and fast food choices that were all within a 5 min walk. Although small, the rooms were very clean and nice.

We stayed at The Edge while attending an event at The Armory track & field facility. It was a great location - a very short walk from the metro stop and from The Armory. The room and hotel are pretty minimalist, but clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Front desk staff were very friendly. We'd definitely stay here again. I will add that amenities are minimal - snacks for purchase by the front desk and a gym on the lower level, no restaurant or bar. Cable tv in the room but hard to navigate the guide (didn't list channels or shows).

We stayed for 8 days. Overall it was acceptable, my main complaint was the lack of storage for clothing that two people had bought for that long a stay. No drawers and a small cabinet for hanging clothes.

Das Hotel liegt am Rande zwischen Manhattan und Bronx. Die Gegend ist nicht spektakulär. Es liegt sehr ruhig. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber es hatte alles da. Kaffee und Wasser standen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Die U-Bahn Haltestelle ist in 2 Minuten Entfernung. In 20-30 Minuten ist man im Zentrum. Mit der U-Bahn A (Express) ist man schneller da und erreicht direkt den Kennedy International Airport (nicht alle A U-Bahnen fahren hin). Das Hotel bittet kein Frühstück an. Wir haben unser Frühstück ab und zu bei Starbucks gekauft (in unmittelbarer Nähe, direkt an der U-Bahn-Station). In einem gemeinsamen Aufenthaltsraum kann man mitgebrachte Speisen in einer Mikrowelle warm machen. Einweg Geschirr (sehr verbreitet in New York) steht zur Verfügung. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis für New York hat gestimmt.

The edge is a perfect hotel if you’re visiting Washington heights!
