위치나 객실은 비교적 만족스럽지만 주차장이 없는점이 좀 불편하였네요.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at El Cordova. The entire property reminded me of a European Hotel with abundant charm and old world elegance

Perfect location! Close to beach, harbor and lots of dining options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the large suite which exceeded our expectations in every way.

Building has charm but in need of renovations. Good bed and pillows.

Broken shower faucet; fowl smell; very rundown and ill maintained property; do not recommend; it’s a shame the owners can’t maintain it properly

We had a great room right off the patio. Nice and quiet. Great air conditioning! Small kitchen, but perfect for our needs. Bathroom was a bit small, but sufficient. Right across the street from the Beach and the Del Coronado Hotel!!

This was a great place to stay with a wonderful location. Very vintage Hispanic team. Miguel’s restaurant which is basically inside the hotel is amazing. Right across from hotel del and right in orange ave. Rooms are a little dated

The new ownwership has let the planters goc the tub had water trapped beneath, the bathroom lights were poorly replaced with gaps in the drywall.. will not likely return .

We stayed for one night to be near family and enjoyed the location—Coronado is beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the beach is just a short walk away. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was friendly. Parking can be challenging, so plan ahead. Overall, it was a good stay, but the price felt high at over $400 for one night. I’d happily return if the rate were closer to $200.

Tooooo noisy

We booked a one bedroom king. The staff was very friendly and attentive the room itself needed some attention. We were aware that the hotel is older however multiple outlets did not work, there was almost zero counter space in the bathroom, making it not quite functional, the swamp cooler soaked the end of the mattress every day, and the shower drain was half screwed in and rusted (potentially causing harm). Other than the room condition the location was wonderful, about a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and right off Orange ave with plenty of shops and restaurants. Overall it was just an ok experience. I would recommend investing in a larger room.

All in all good stay but noise from the restaurant is an issue a guest needs to be prepared for and I mean not the noise from the guests. It’s the noise from the staff who even during nights clean and move goods which is quite loud. The location so close to the beach is fantastic!

Loved our stay at El Cordova Hotel! The on-site restaurant was super convenient, the whole place had a cozy, homey vibe, and we were just minutes from Coronado Beach. Excellent experience all around!

We have been staying at the El Cordova for decades - sometimes two and even three times per year. It has always felt like home. We knew the managers on a first name basis and could frequently get perks because of our loyalty. However, circumstances have changed over the last couple years. Managers seem to shift often and it is difficult to develop a connection. Our last visit was a disappointment. We reserved a deluxe suite and they "upgraded" us to a handicap room. The kitchen was barely a kitchen and the table that was crammed in there was not useful. They couldn't get us the coffee that was compatible with the maker in our room even though we were there 3 days. The WiFi was terrible - it kept dropping in and out. I tested the download speed to be 1 Mbps! We explained that we reserved a suite and they said the deluxe rooms are not suites in the traditional sense. They kept pointing to the word deluxe and we kept pointing to the word suite. There are many other options available for staying on Coronado Island - which we will be exploring in the future.

We stayed in the Casa Grande Suite for one night. The staff was friendly and the restaurant in the hotel was amazing! Unfortunately the shower in the room did not work at all (thankfully there was a separate claw foot tub, so we made due) and the air conditioning for the side of the suite that had the rooms did not work either.

The best thing about this hotel is it is winin walking distance of the Hotel del Mar. The bathrooms are tiny, but it is worth it for the room prices.

The hotel El Cordova was a jewel. I loved the quaint and historic feeling of this boutique hotel. The pool was beautiful and the suite we stayed in was roomy, clean and we were able to use the fridge to store some food. Miguel’s Cocina serves delicious food at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed my stay here with the beautiful scenes on the tiles around the property. I felt like I had escaped to Spain. The location was great, close to shopping and the beach. A very walkable area. I would definite back to this hotel and the lovely area of Coronado. 💕

Met every need we had and more! Close to the beach and close to food and shops!

Very good location to utilize beach amenities in front of Hotel del Coronado. Only negative is parking. If poss - dont bring car to the area unless necessary. Can walk to pbeach, resaurants + shops
