First room the heater wasn't working, second room smelled like cigarettes. The place has had a lot of wear and in need of a face lift. Bed was comfortable and front desk lady very nice.

I'm not sure how i rate this hotel. Parts were great and others were shabby. I may blame Expedia for giving me pet friendly options but not giving me the option to request a pet friendly room up front. This was the case with the Elimwood. I booked a suite and was informed upon check-in that suites were not pet friendly and we were downgraded to a tiny room with two queens. The room was not great and we did not enjoy our stay. On the positive: staff were great. Very friendly. The lobbey and lounge had just been updated and were very appealing. The breakfast was tasty and the area was spotless.

Some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with while traveling. How understanding, helpful and going the extra mile for my daughter and I had had us bot saying St. Louis ehh but man the people are some of the nicest we have ever met and the people at the Elimwood were at the top of them all!

Booked 2 King bed suites, got to St.Louis and told the hotel only has 1 Kins Suite in the hotel and the others are 2 queen bed suites. The queen bed suites has the same amenities, get it and only the private bathroom was operational for the all the guest in the room. The Staff Grace did not advise us of that before giving us the key.

The lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing, she was so sweet and understanding! However the room was not clean, there were fingerprints and dirt & stains on EVERYTHING, the shower was broken and we were put right by a construction zone. The entire place was so smelly, and it was uninhabitable

The check in was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and had a lot of parking area. The room was good and the bed comfortable. The bathroom tub was stained. There wasn't much counter space in the bathroom.The lobby only has 2 chairs. The staff and guests smoke right outside the doors so you have to walk through the smell to enter and exit. It wasn't the best motel I have been to,but it wasn't the worst either.

Severely needing an update, half of the hotel is under remodel, the fire alarm panel had a trouble on it, the fire alarm went off at 4:30am, workers were difficult to find if needed anything, even calling the front desk no answer, chairs floor and walls are gross, cleaners should really use a black light to clean these rooms.

The breakfast was ok. The first room we were put in stunk of urine, sheets and blankets were dirty and stained. Went to front desk to bring to their attention. They didnt have another suite so we were put into two different rooms. They also smelled terrible. Was given the run around as to why property manager couldnt smell the foul oder. Just gave up and went and bought air freshner to beable to get through till morning. The workout room smelled of mold and ceiling was falling down. I would NOT recommened anyone to this property.
