Stayed 7 nights to see the DC Area. Staff and policies super inconsistent, one day we needed to enter thru the side door with the use of room key without signage or staff direction, staff could see us but did not interact, just let us stand in the cold watching us try to figure out the unmarked key card reader was what we needed to use to gain access, next day we must enter thru main revolving door.
Breakfast and evening welcoming super inconsistent, no signage or staff directing anyone. Unnecessary lines caused by poor staff leadership and management.
They lost the lobby tv remotes and unable to display nfl games on any of the tvs despite close to 100 guest buying food and drink, wanting to watch end of season games also unavailable in room.
Woke up early by housekeeping wanting to turn down the rooms hours before checkout time, even on the days we were not checking out, no do not disturb door signs available.
Rooms were very clean and pleasant.
Things they don’t tell you in advance, obnoxiously high parking cost ( like stadium prices) to park on site. several times more expensive than nearby options. So factor that in your budget or plan to park a few blocks away. They consider themselves a “destination” and charge an additional destination fee that’s also obnoxiously expensive and not disclosed in advance. None of the amenities were worth using let alone coming here for. The pool is very small and the hot tub was shallow and gross with skin and oils caked on.
