Dustin and Cage were excellent hosts. E had a comfortable and relaxing time at the beautifully, well maintained and updated B&B. We only wished we had more time to examine the common rooms.

Our host, Kage, was super friendly and helpful with recommendations around the town. The house was absolutely gorgeous and cozy on a frigid Thanksgiving weekend, our room was perfect. The neighborhood sits atop a bluff/hill within half a block of the famous Snake Alley and surrounded by amazing Victorian homes. Burlington is more boutique-y than I knew, almost like a mid-state Galena. The Evans Holly Grove is the perfect getaway in a nice, walkable historic area!

This property was fantastic and staff very very friendly. The only recommendation we would have to give is to have access to some cold water and maybe some snack items. We would love to stay here again.

Evans Holly Grove is just gorgeous! We stayed there while attending the TriState Rodeo in Fort Madison. The owners are knowledgeable about the history of Burlington and their beautiful historic home. The front porch was a great place to have morning coffee, which is ready for you downstairs. We stayed in the business suite, which had a very comfortable king bed and was decorated nicely with not too much "trinkets" sitting around, leaving you plenty of room to place your things. The home is quiet and so was the room. We would definitely stay there again.

Great visit to a very historic section in Burlington, Iowa. Stayed here while visiting family across the river (Mississippi) in Illinois. Loved this house and its history/furnishings collected by the Owners. Good dining options within easy walking distance.

Beautiful historic home with AC and comfy bed. Room was traditional in decor so fitting to the ornate building. Suite was compact but had great storage including a large closet plus chests. Walkable to the great Mississippi River and restaurants. Host was kind and easy to contact.
Notes: it’s hard to dust all that decor, the only outdoor space is a large front porch, and hot breakfast was simple though hearty.

Lovely home. Courteous/responsive host. Close to where we needed to be for a wedding. My only complaint , the room was very warm at night and it wasn't a hot evening.
