Very expensive

While the hotel itself is very charming and does boast great amenities such as a cold plunge and sauna. But the walls are extremely thin. You hear everything even with the provided earplugs they give you. For the price you expect to sleep peaceful and it was no where near that. A dog was left unattended in its room and barked until 1 in the morning along with hearing everything going on in the room next door. I would highly suggest only staying here on the nights where it’s priced reasonably and you’re ok with little to no sleep.

We had a poor experience with this hotel. The door to our room #203 would not lock. In fact, any slight pressure to the door from the outside just opens it easily. We informed the front desk and they were UNABLE to help us stating there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO despite calling their general manager. We were quite upset. It was 745pm on a Saturday night. We were stuck. We were limited on options for booking another hotel on a Saturday night and we had dinner reservations at 8pm! Because of our dinner reservations, we repacked our luggages and belongings and placed them in our car for secure safe keeping. After dinner, we returned to our room #203 with the faulty lock, unloaded our luggages from our car and unpacked in our room again. During the night, we used the flip lock. Breakfast followed the same pattern of repacking our luggage to be placed in the car. This was such an inconvenience for us and very poor service. If this hotel could not fix a faulty door lock “after hours”, what would happen if there are other service issues like a toilet leak?! I’m disappointed in this hotel. Despite all the listed amenities and location, this leaves such a poor taste and bitter lasting impression.

The proximity to the lake(across the street) and central to Tahoe city cannot be beat. Rooms were clean but basic. Restaurant on site was great and free coffee is a nice perk. Checkin was easy and quick. Staff was extremely nice. I had a great view of the golf course. Ultimately this is a 3 star property with nice amenities

The beds were comfortable. I was disappointed that the room I got 109, didnt have a porch and front window like the others. I will stay here again but I would ask for a different room. It was very convenient and walkable.

The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant next door had great food! We got the room with the bunk beds which were big and sturdy enough for our teens! We loved the ambience of this place. Our only struggle was parking due to construction, but this should be temporary.

I took my family to Tahoe over the holiday weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located within a few shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Renovated rooms are excessively cramped and inaccessible due to larger beds. Poor design choices, and noise from parking lot construction 20 feet from door entrances began at 5:00AM. Staff only comment was “it’s a busy week”, and no mention of the issue.

The staff was extraordinary very attentive from the front of the house to the back of the house, bike rentals. The only thing that was parking lot construction happing in front of our room. It was challenging to get a afternoon nap in. Overall, 4.5/5 and I would stay at evo again!
