The hotel on one side is very nice but the rooms overlooking the city is terrible. There are homeless people around the hotel so it gets very sketchy. Even the nice part of the hotel gets sketchy at night because of homeless. The inside is very nice. Breakfast is good and employees are very nice.

The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. The room was clean, but a bit run down. Good breakfast biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, The area you can tell was a nice area at one time. Now the outer areas are run down and didn't give the safe feeling. I would stay again if it was a quick stay.

travlosity gave me a package deal all taxes and fees included. went to check in they charged me 17.50per day for parking ,I could park on the street for free but signs every warned abouy break in and theft! I should get a refund for parking since they would not honor the package deal.please respond ASAP Joe

Great value, super clean hotel, great views, awesome service, delicious breakfast! Special shout outs to Kim and Maria at the front desk. They both went above and beyond to make sure that we were well informed and well taken care of. Kim answered all of our questions and Maria made extra arrangements for us to get a more appropriate room. I can’t say enough about how helpful they were.
One request… please bring back the On the Rocks drinks as part of the front desk bar. Also, so sorry to see the price increase for the great salmon and steak dinners. As I have said in prior reviews, those dinners were the best deal in all of Oakland! Very high quality made to order meals for a super reasonable price!

It was a very comfortable stay, the hotel had such a good all-around environment, in the middle of OAK. Nice views, nice continental breakfast, we spent some time in the hot tub and met very nice people who were staying. Got some delusions Margaritas at the bar too!
