GALAXY HOTEL

Staff very friendly and helpful

We weren't sure what to expect at the Galaxy because the price was so reasonable for a hotel with such a great downtown location. We could not be happier with our decision. We checked in with Randy at the desk. He could not have been more helpful. He was our go to guy for restaurant recommendations, help with parking, plus he put us in a ninth floor room with views of the water from our balcony. The room was very nice as well with all the amenities. We have grand kids in St Pete and when we come back again to visit we will be checking in at the Galaxy.

The property was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Parking could be more convenient but the immensely large room definitely helped. The hotel is close to a lot of shopping and dining options.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. The location is amazing. We took some beautiful pictures from the rooftop bar although it wasn't open. Hope they open it soon because it would be a great asset to the hotel!

Everything was perfect, location, walkable, ambience, and the service with Daniel and Randy in the front desk made the experience. The hotel is very pretty and great location. Recommended !

This is a 12 story hotel, with roughly 9 parking spaces. Each parking space comes with a car lift. Your car can't fit on the lift because American cars are to big. I managed to get into a space, but couldn't get out of my car because the spaces are to narrow. I tried another space, and the maneuverability is very difficult due to the limited space. Eventually, my left tire fell off the lift. and my axle got stuck, so my car was stuck. I asked the front desk for help, they said call AAA. A AAA vehicle could not get into the parking garage. I was able to jack up my car and get it unstuck. I went to the sister property to park. I guess it is so unsafe, you have to have a code to get in the lobby. There were two cars parked in front of the entrance so I couldn't pull through. Someone finally let me in and showed me where to park. But I was not going to leave my car 2 blocks away from the hotel, and with vagrants sitting at the entrance getting high. I immediately checked out and went to a different hotel. I would never recommend the Galaxy hotel to anyone, nor will I ever go back.

Good, nice building, there were some questionable construction choices; it seems like some things were unfinished. But other than that, it was comfortable. The customer service was nice and friendly, and we slept comfortably in the bed.

Great place! Clean, nice and decent price! Will come back!

Awesome stay

Randy was really nice and helpful

The hotel was great and the staff was very friendly. It is in a great location. The parking was an issue if you don't want to pay $30 for valet parking for just for one night. The nearest self parking is a few blocks away and we had to walk in the rain. The AC in the room was either too cold or too hot.
