The location is convenient but it was not good at the noice blocking. I could hear a sound of flutes from the sround room.

AC was broken and it was super hot in the entire hotel when we got there with no prior notice, and no fan in the room. Only options were to refund and cancel or stay and pay full price. When we went to check our room, it was a completely different room than what I had booked and nothing in the hotel was nearly as nice as it seemed online

There was no AC, which was communicated before checkin but too late to make other arrangements, didn't offer cold water or anything to help. Nothing off of bill - construction began at 9 pm and my Queen bed was 2 twin beds pushed together and was not comfortable.

Save your money. The air-conditioning was out—which was unfortunate and unpleasant—but even beyond that the staff was rude and unhelpful, particularly in light of how miserable the stay already was. There are much better places to stay in DC. Recommend you stay elsewhere!

If you are planning to stay in this hotel, think again. They do not care enough about guests. During our stay, the whole hotel was having issues with air-conditioning, which resulted in very warm rooms and communal areas. They provided a fan to guests, but it was hard to sleep since the rooms had almost no air circulation (no fresh air from outside). From a chat with other guests, this was going on for at least a week, which makes the situation even worse: how can a hotel take such a long time to restore comforts such as AC to their guests. Also, although it is listed with swimming pool, it closes from 1st September. This is not mentioned at any point during booking. Although we had these two major issues during our holiday stay, they have not offered anything to compensate for this besides the option to cancel/refund. We couldn't even consider this option since we were only informed one day before, while already travelling, not giving us much time to re-plan the trip.

Good hotel, service and staff were great. Nothing to complain about

Whilst the property offers useful facilities such as lounge areas, the bar and pool, this was significantly let down by the lack of air conditioning. I was only informed of this on arrival, not beforehand, which mean that both sleep and relaxation were heavily disrupted. Very unreliable.

That was amazing and I’ve always been a fan of the generator hostle. The only thing was that the AC was out. Things happen . We made the most of it though! I’ll be back!

They were out of AC however did not accommodate with bottle of water in each room to help refresh. They put a little beverage dispenser with cup next to it all the way downstairs.

Hotel had not had air conditioning for four days but did not tell anyone making reservations until they arrived. Had to find another hotel in the middle of the night because it was not habitable in the summer heat. Very unprofessional.

I reserved this hotel for my husband one night at Washington DC. He arrived at DC little after 10:00pm, he was at the hotel around 11:00pm. At check in, he was told the room he will be in doesn’t have an AC, he is welcomed to cancelled his reservation, and he has to call Expedia/ Hotel.com to get his money back. He asked since it is 11:00pm and it will be hard for him to get another hotel at that time, if he can get a discount, the staff brush him off and told him to call Expedia/ hotel.com. This is unacceptable, they knew he is new in town, and it is hard to get another hotel at that time. Very disappointed about the overall experience.
