GrandStay Residential Suites - Eau Claire

Our room had over two dozen ladybugs, not just in/on the window, but on the walls and in the bed. We had two stuff paper towel in the window to try to get them to stop from coming in. The carpeting in the hallways and the room was dirty. The carpeting in the room had rips. The elevator was filthy. There was a very strong smell of Marijuana in the elevator and hallway. We lasted four hours at the hotel and then had to leave and go to a different hotel. When checking out and telling the front desk about the ladybug issue, the response was oh no.

Overall hotel is nice. Staff heloful and friendly.

We were staying here for the weekend with our 3 children and didn't find out until check in that the pool was closed for "routine maintenance." The website had stated the "spa tub" would be closed. The rooms had basic satellite TV service but these weren't smart TVs so we couldn't stream any movies. We had a 2-bedroom suite. The furniture was adequate although end tables would have been helpful. Otherwise the continental breakfast was satisfactory, the room was clean, and staff was pleasant. We'd stay again if necessary only because multi-bedroom hotel suites are scarce.

This is a budget friendly gem and the staff take a lot of pride as seen in how vlean it was and nice plentiful complimentary hot breakfast.

All was good except the BEDS! We could feel the coils in the mattresses, they are well past their prime. We both left there tired with sore backs.

When I go to visit my daughter I ALWAYS stay at Grandstay. Always nice!

Room was spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was fair , biscuits & gravy was only hot food offered .

The only complaint I had was jets not working on Hot Tub and it was extremely small.

Checkin was smooth and friendly, room was clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient for shopping, dining, and freeway/interstate access.

We have been staying here for almost 4 years and always enjoy it.

Bottom shelf of fridge was so dirty. Unsure why only 1 trash bag left in kitchen area so our trash overflowed. The hot tub has been down since fall with temp being too hot and no jets working. Plus no pool towels so had to go to desk. Should have had paper towels for spills in kitchen and should have unloaded the dishwasher. That was tacky.

5th stay in a couple years and its consistantly clean and reliable.Easy on and off freeway and shopping is convient. Staff has always been helpful.

Nothing to not like. Everything is excellent so far. Great value!
