Hampton Inn Bloomington

It was good

Very clean and in good condition. Friendly helpful staff. Transfer carts for luggage need to be replaced.

Was exactly as advertised.

The staff was very accommodating and nice. The breakfast was wonderful with different options. In spite of renovations going on we got a room where it was quiet and clean.

Expedia screwed up our reservation but the hotel and everything else was great!

Upon arrival at 9 pm the entrance had 4 or 5 men smoking in front of the doors. Smoke drifting in the lobby. Deak clerk was super nice. Smokers are evidently "guests" who are construction workers for building next door. Hall carpets are not clean. Room was.

This property is an oldie, but goodie. We’ve been staying here for over 29 years and will continue to do so. It is convenient and reliable.

We always stay at this hotel when we go to visit our daughters and grandchildren. The hotel is in a perfect location to travel around Bloomington, Indiana. The front desk staff are always helpful and cheerful.

Room was especially small. No hot water much of the day—lukewarm at best. Coffee/Tea not restocked from day to day.

Construction nearby.

Comfy bed… elevator and floor coming into hotel desperately needed vacuuming. Construction next door, but was still quiet. The driveway into hotel very easy to miss, due to construction.

Easy checkin process. Maintenance staff was quick and efficient. Clean bathroom, clean sheets.

This hotel is our go to when we visit our children and grandchildren in Bloomington Indiana. The front desk people are always friendly and helpful. The room was clean and there was a grab bar in the shower. A positive experience.

The dining area tables was not clean, the heater in the room was so loud couldn't sleep. Next day the construction next door was also loud.

This property is outdated and not as clean as expected for a Hampton Inn. The front desk was not very helpful and when we questioned being moved to a different room they were not receptive to working with us. Very disappointed in the overall customer service and cleanliness of the hotel. Also, there is so much construction around the hotel, including huge cranes, that seemed unsafe to the property we were staying in. I would not be interested in staying at this hotel again and for the price, which was no bargain, we have stayed in much nicer closer to Indiana university. We will be choosing other options in Bloomington the next time we are in town.

This Hampton Inn was acceptable but the experience was not up to the brand’s usual standard. The property was not spotless. The breakfast presentation was unappealing and uninspired. The lobby seating was cramped. My room did not have a closet in which I could hang my suit. I was required to have a hanger in my car to ensure it was not towed. On my next trip to Bloomington I will choose to stay elsewhere.
