Jouana lied about information she provided regarding valet parking. Also when a person checks in after midnight ona busy weekend, you should have valet ready for them as there was no parking. Had to wait 30 Minutes for security to come with golf cart and then swap it out for van to transport us to room. Sheets has some stains. Did not request maid except for 1 day. They did not fill up bathtub bottles ans had no body wash.

Easily one of our favorite resorts we have stayed at. So much offered and the staff was so nice and professional.

Front desk staff were very polite and easy to work with. Some features in the rooms were outdated and our tvs experienced issues during our stay but we were out of the room all day anyways.

I liked everything about the property but mostly the fact that the mountain was right across the street so we were able to hike. Excellent views

This property was said to have been refurbished. I saw no indication of that. Refrigerator did not work, heat did not work, entire place was quite beat up. The pricing did not reflect any of that. Staff and service were quite good. I would have expected coffee and water to be offered complimentary in the lobby, no such luck. Stood in line for the Starbuck they located there instead. Completely insufficient for the representation of a higher end hotel.

We went to our room and were immediately disappointed. We were on the ground level in a room that faced a courtyard surrounded by buildings on one side, and a covered balcony overlooking the parking lot on the other side—so it was very dark and cave-like. Next we noticed loads of stains on the sofa and chair which just kind of grossed us out. I responded to a text we received asking how our room was and said that I thought we had paid for an upgraded room. They were great and moved us to a room in the hillside with a spanning view. The room layout was better, but still, just like the other room you walk straight into one of the beds as it blocks the doorway into the room. That was really annoying. The issue with this room was that there was hair EVERYWHERE. It was like the guest before us was cutting hair in the room! Hair on the beds, in the sink, all over the shower walls... ick!! We didn't want to complain again, so I just cleaned it myself. Now to the grounds... all the walkways and stairs and walls could use a serious power wash and fixing. I know it's a dusty dessert, but they are in desperate need of repair. The pools and pool decks were very clean (though dated) and we enjoyed the ability to order food and drinks at the main pool. For the low price we paid in off season, it was a fair deal, but we wouldn't return. We did not try any restaurants onsite. Also, be prepared to walk far or drive to the main areas unless you're in the main building.

I like the restaurant views, restaurant food, service, and general staff service. However the resort seems outdated, and the building I stayed in was very loud from some sort of mechanical equipment.

Excellent

Poolside suites are outdated and kinda small- but clean. Resort is huge, beautiful, secluded enough from city, but close enough to Scottsdale, Tempe, etc. if you're looking to do excursions off resort- definitely get a rental car verse uber (it's worth the price). Book spa and golf course in advance due to limited availability when at resort- don't wait to book during stay ( call in advance). Hot tubs are nice but jets didn't work at times.. it was quiet this stay (not many guests) during this season, but the views are beautiful. If you stay at this resort- book a reservation at Different Pointe of View - it is stunning and worth it (dinner with a view overlooking the city & sunsets are beautiful). Shoutout to Nemo (Bell/Service manager)- he's a gem. Shoutout to Bob (server of 40 years at Different Pointe of View- he's amazing and goes beyond the average service). If travelling off site- avoid the Sunnyslope neighborhood (dangerous). Definitely recommend old town Scottsdale. We spent most time off the resort- some fun excursions nearby that we did: Desert Botanical Gardens, phoenix zoo, house of comedy show, ATV/UTV at Arizona outdoor fun, Ghost Tour. We played tennis on resort, amazing restaurants at Social Tap, Society, Culinary Dropout (The Yards), Different Pointe of View, Different Point of Tyme... etc. Overall, great stay and will definitely be visiting Phoenix again in the future!!!

Great place to stay. Pools are great

Disrepair throughout the property. One hot tub is cold, the other has no jets. One restaurant open and guests are forced to have a breakfast buffet. It’s all they offer if you want to dine in. Staff is rude and put out. This resort is past its prime.

Great property! Rooms are a little dated, but overall a great experience. Delicious breakfast, expansive hiking and pool options, dining was excellent. Great for family with teens!
