This hotel, right on US395 in Garderville was okay, but that’s about it. On the positive, the room was clean, stocked, there was plenty of hot water and the bed was really comfortable - I slept really well. On the down side, the place looked sorta run down, and there were few amenities, no breakfast offering (although it was apparent that they used to offer a breakfast), and the place looked like a basic motel. Worst part is I feel the place was overpriced. The room was worth $70 a night, not $130. It was convenient to nearby dining. The big question, would I ever stay there again? The answer is no..

My room had an extremely strong chemical smell, and I asked for a different room. The desk clerk sprayed my room with glade and said "There". When I asked again for a different room, the hotel attempted to charge me an extra $40. When I asked them to cancel my reservation, they stated that since I had checked in they could not cancel. I went to another hotel!

Easy access to Heavenly's Nevada side, and only 3hrs drive to the Bay Area

Bathroom needs an update. The front units are noisy due to traffic and nearby bars.

Did not care for having to wait five minutes when we arrived at the property before we could check in. Before we left, we discovered a leak in the bathroom on the floor. And no donuts lol we have stayed with you before and really do love the property

Get a desk clerk that speaks English. He is most likely a nice guy but

Very quaint, clean and comfortable place to stay. I particularly liked the lobby area. It had a warm, friendly feel to it due to it's rustic decor and the seats/couches were quite comfortable. Highly recommend this motel.

Booked to atrend a friends birthday. It was convenient and reasonably priced. It is dated but wasnt expecting a modern cream de la cream hotel. The staff was very nice and yes, breakfast is definitely doughnuts from a very good bakery. I would stay again if i was in the area.

We were greeted by Shawn and he made sure we had everything we needed and offered some fun places to check out. Our room was spacious and very clean. Even the location was perfect, we were able to walk to restaurants and shops!! I highly recommend this place!

Spacious room. Very quiet. Small park across the street out back but it has signs that said no dogs. Dog friendly hotel. $20/dog. Donuts and coffee in the morning. Good coffee machine in room.

Our room needed some updates. The floor was cracked. The sink was rusty. The bed was comfortable, and it was close to where we need to be.

We went for 2 days for a wedding in small town Gardnerville. Where to start, the door to our room had to be assaulted to get it to open/close. The floors were filty, the bathroom door had foot prints all over it, and the microwave had 2 thawed hot pockets left in it. The ice machine doesnt work either. Everything about the hotel was basic at best.

I was a little bit disappointed while checking in that the desk clerk took a call and made a reservation with the caller and me wait while I was checking in even though I was there first, had already waited behind a previous customer and had a prepaid booked room. All else was great.

Surprisingly this was a good place to stay the room was clean. The biggest surprise was we were welcomed kindly at the front desk and the checkout went smoothly and also very kind person at the desk. No elevator to 2nd floor.
