Breakfast wasn’t the best pancake machine was broken the 3 days we stayed

It was super clean

The hotel was clean and felt safe. Parking lot was well lit. Our experience with the staff at the front desk was not great. The man who checked us in gave us a key to the wrong room after admitting he didn't see well. Then the fire alarm started going off after midnight. We were awakened several times in the night until the fire department was finally able to get it off. There were apparently only two staff members there at the time and they did not inspection the building to ensure we were all safe. It was a little scary that they seemed to have no emergency plan other than wait for the fire department, who also did not inspect.

Clean hotel that had a nice breakfast. I wasn't really comfortable with the location, right next to the highway, but it worked for one night. The staff was friendly.

The breakfast was hot and ready juice maker and pancake maker both broken very disappointing. Room was clean and comfortable. We were able to check in early which was very nice. Area around hotel a little sketchy.

Staff had to let us try 5 handicap accessible rooms before we could find one with an accessible roll-in shower.

I thought it was an updated and well kept hotel and would recommend staying there.

Parking fee is a joke, we spent enough on the room and still got charged for parking in a empty parking lot. Tourism fee at a Holiday Inn Express makes no sense as it’s one step above a bottom line hotel. Whatever fee you think you are getting charged make sure you account for an extra $500……10 out of 10 would never recommend this hotel for the price you get charged

Staff was nice and friendly and worked with my situation

This is a really nice place to stay with very nice staff. Everything was very clean and modern. The bed was great as well as different size pillows! It was the best price in the area and we were really surprised on how nice it was. They offered everything for breakfast with a pancake maker that drops the batter and rolls along a baking line and drops out the end, that was super cool! Stay here, you will not be disappointed and we will stay here every time we come to Sacramento. Thank You

What a great check-in experience. My daughter is in the Sac State University Nursing Program and after her classes we were able to check-in early which allowed her to study in a quiet environment, as she had to be back to the university by 5:45 A.M. the next day. Most hotels don’t let you check-in until the posted time no matter what. What great customer service provided by the young lady at the front desk. To avoid the 60 mile drive from home to Sacramento in this case again we will always choose this Holiday Inn Express!!!!

Room was great. Bathroom floor was a bit dirty. Not sweeped/moped correctly. The worse part was the water pressure in the shower. Otherwise would be perfect.

The tv lost its picture but not the sound. A fully functioning tv is a must when I book a room. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied

Super nice woman at the front desk! Very polite, courteous and took care of a double reservation we accidentally booked. Room was super quiet.

It was clean, but lots of chemical smell.
