IHG 호텔, Holiday Inn Express NYC CHELSEA - NOMAD AREA

I reserved a 1-TWINBED (2 SINGLE) ROOM through HOTELS.COM, but was assigned a 1-KINGBED ROOM upon check-in. The problem was that the 1-TWINBED ROOM was sold at a higher price than the 1-KINGBED ROOM, and I bought it at a higher price so that my son and I could sleep comfortably. When I showed them the screen dump from when I made the reservation, they said they would refund $30 per day, a total of $150, upon check-out. I agreed, and after staying for 5 nights, I was told that the refund would be processed in 7-10 days. However, the refund has not been processed. I think that HOLIDAY INN EXP hotels cannot be trusted in this process. I hope that many customers will use this hotel's behavior as an example and make a wise decision.

already passed 20 days after checkout, but the 150$ deposit doesn't refund yet.

Great breakfast

Staff were helpful and friendly , the public areas very small with limited facilities, and the outdoor space to the front of the hotel definitely could do with a refurb ! However overall was good and in a convenient location .

The property is in a good location close to subway Pen station and some landmarks that you can do on foot. The room was very clean and modern, we’ve asked for the street view and were granted that so it was great. Breakfast was good enough lm vegetarian and was able to find something for myself every morning. The issue that was not nice is that when l booked online with Expedia I paid for everything and thought that was it but when we arrived we had to paid extra $130 us for destination fee, $30 a day! Which l find as a money grab and not being transparent!! Then you have no choice and you have to shell it out. For that reason l would not book a property like that again - good we had money to pay it!

It was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased. The staff was friendly.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly! The continental breakfasts were delicious and convenient for our travels. Great location for all the tourist activities! Highly recommend!

La struttura è in una posizione centrale, comoda per i mezzi e per chi arriva dall' aeroporto JFK. Le camere non sono grandi e i letti da una piazza e mezza ( noi avevamo una quadrupla), l' armadio piccolo per chi vuole disfare le valigie. La colazione internazionale buona anche se poco varia e poco dolce. Erano sempre a disposizione durante la giornata: caffè americano, tè e acqua e ghiaccio, volendo l'acqua anche in piccole bottigliette, cosa molto gradita. Consiglio di portare borracce da poter riempire e utilizzare durante la giornata in giro per NY.Davanti all' entrata ci sono tavoli con sedie e divani utili per le cene take away. Lo consiglio

clean room, being able to change ac temp easily was a plus too. and it made me so relieved breakfast was included in the stay. I absolutely loved how they had quiet hours at an assigned time. walking distance to MSG and the subway.

What a bang for your buck! We had 2 rooms with 3 in each and it was great! The rooms were updated and nice! All NYC hotel rooms are small but this was larger than I expected. The continental breakfast was a great unexpected amenity along with the free wine happy hour! Everything was clean and the rooms were so quiet! Wish we had time to ride the bikes they have. The staff were friendly and helpful! Will be staying again!

La camera era pulita e e ben organizzata, prodotti per il body care Marca DOVE ottimi. La colazione come qualità buona ma location sacrificata e poco adeguata. Mi spiace ma mangiare come le sardine è saltarsi in testa per una colazione a buffet non mi è piaciuta.

All was good

Great central location. Room not huge but bigger than have had in New York before! Free breakfast everyday only negative was size of breakfast area, was a little small so very busy, plus people that weren’t staying in hotel were walking in and getting breakfast and coffee as saw plenty do it, needs to be in area not right in lobby. Free bottles of water in reception every day which was really nice touch and unexpected, saved us buying everyday

Buon hotel della catena in ottima posizione comoda per visitare la città. Nota positiva il fatto che sia stato rinnovato da poco. Nota negativa la colazione per la scarsa qualità del cibo e la poca varietà ma soprattutto per lo spazio poiché l’area è davvero molto piccola rapportata al numero di ospiti e si formano attese e confusione al buffet

Hôtel très bien placé, très propre et confortable. Le personnel très sympathique.

Sufficient for one night. Small.
