Holiday Inn PLAINVIEW-LONG ISLAND, an IHG Hotel

Bed and room were clean and comfortable. Staffs are very kind. The doors need to reduce some noice. They constantly slammed at night and kept me wake up.

It was a very comfortable and clean room. It's hard to find any restaurants within walking distance. Conveniently located for visiting Huntington and Cold Spring Harbor. The external view is literally "Plainview".

Easy off the highway. Nice clean rooms and was very quiet.

not the cleanest or most updated (hair in the bathroom). The dryer caught on fire at midnight setting off smoke alarms and frantic loud staff for an hour. Then they went off the next day from a steamy shower. The staff was nice enough and let me cancel the 2nd night. very average hotel.

I didn't like that the house keeping came in our room while we were sleeping

The stuff was very rude. She gave other customer holiday gift bag but I didn’t received one. The shower head was broken and sink drainer was not work properly. They offered me to fix the shower head in late night. I refused and requested switch room. So I had to switch the room in late night. The switched the shower room fax cover was broken also. The guy asked me if needed to fix. I said no it’s too late I need to sleep. He said if don’t touch won’t fail. Very disappointed services and quality of room.

The hotel was fine, but there were some minor maintenance issues such as lights not working in the bathroom (not all, but some, which made it dim and hard to put makeup on.). Otherwise a good property.

Everything was great and breakfast at the restaurant was really good. Only thing is that you could hear the people in the adjacent rooms because the walls are thin. It's hard to rest when you can hear people talking.

Clean, cozy and very comfortable.

The heating vent in room was extremely loud, first night got no sleep, second night turned heat off and slept in cold. Informed front desk and was told all rooms were booked and they couldn’t change rooms. Also a mildew scent in room. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Excellent staff, room had no windows, except to the public corridor people walked to their rooms, so blinds remained drawn. AC was noisy, turned it off to get peaceful sleep.

Great

The front staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The “fitness center” had 4 pieces of equipment and two of them did not work. When we asked if we could check out an hour later we were told no in a very rude way.

It was okay. The hotel's lobby looks nice, but the room feels like a motel. I will never come back to this location, Holiday Inn.
