Surly ill-mannered staff. Every request seemed to irritate FD staff. Exceptions to this were Heather, the bartender and housekeeping. This old historic property is let down by its terrible front line staff.

Super quiet and convenient location… very clean room… we love staying at Holiday Inn Richland on the River!

Room very chilly, draft coming through window, saw from outside that the window frame was loose, could be the cause. Overall beautiful hotel with very friendly staff.

The property is nice and clean. The staff was always very courteous. The problem was we booked a King room. I called and asked the day of our stay to make sure our room was upstairs. They moved us upstairs to a double queen room. I called down to the front desk and talked with the front desk clerk. They asked me to hold for a minute which turned out to be over 15 minutes. I had to hang up and call them back to get a response. I went to the lobby the next morning and asked for the manager to give me a call. Never happened. I had left that morning around 9:30. I got back around 3 pm and then was finally able to get our room moved but never a call back. I see that I got my final bill which is a little smaller than when I reserved but I do not believe covers the hassle we went through with our stay. I hope that you really did read these reviews and make adjustments accordingly.

I like the area around the hotel and it is walkable to a lot of different food areas.

I like the look, layout, and spaciousness of the hotel and rooms. It is a great location, close to a park, the river, and dining that are all walkable.

Romm was bemaculate, the public areas, stairs, rugs looked worn and dirty

The hotel was conveniently located to downtown and right on the river, which was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and will come again.

The desk people were inexperienced but tried, need training and more employees on front desk. Im very worried this property may fail, yes even after all these years.
