I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is super friendly. And the owner himself is stern but also friendly. For a mediocre hotel it's above average. I think some rooms are cleaner then others I have stayed in a fourth floor room that was ok but the 2nd floor room I was in recently smelled bad.

Bare bones. Springy bed, but comfortable. They have mini fridge and microwave. Fast WiFi. No closet, but a shelf to hang clothes. Room was very clean, no signs of ants/cockroaches. Bathroom was also clean.
Place is more quiet than expected for a hotel to be right next to a busy street.
For the price, solid stay. Not luxurious, but it’s clean and safe. Recommend for price conscious travelers.

I didn't have the room as I booked. Finally the hotel gave to me a handicap room with 1 bed. No window to have a look outside. I couldn't take a shower normally with this handicap bathroom, the ground was wet everywhere. If I knew about the elevetors out of service, I didn't book at all. There wasn't any remark about that.

Decent place don’t stay on the freeway side it’s way to loud it was noisy sleeping on that side way too many cars go by! Other than that it was decent

It's not a Hilton nor a DoubleTree; having that in mind and lowering your expectations, it's a great value. I wish they charged $50 per night but good luck finding that in southern California near beach cities. Everything was mediocre but the elevator wasn't working so it was a pain walking up three flights and down three flights of stairs.
In conclusion, lowering your expectations and you will find this hotel extremely comfortable and problem free.

Hotel is deceiving. The property us laid out so every room is larger than a atandard motel room. Contemporary design and place appears to be very clean and well kept. Makeover from Suoer 8 to Motel 39 was done fantastically. Enjoy your stay we did !!

It was a dirty prositute hotel from what it look like it had a smell when u walked in and they tried to cover it up with a floral smell. I don't know if the pillows were supposed to be white or yellow, which i did not use. we was suppose to stay Friday through sunday check in from a 6 hr drive and ended up leaving the next day very unhappy.

The staff at the hotel are great people. They take good care of the hotel. Safe place to stay, clean and eveything is relatively close by. Highly recommend.
