The beds were absolutely terrible. They were like sleeping on a cardboard box. The music from the club downstairs was very loud but there isn’t much the hotel could doe about that.

The area of this hotel was great. Lots of nice restaurants in the area, and the beach was very close and the gelato shop on site was amazing. The hotel itself was not the best though especially for the price. The room wasn’t ready at check in time. There were white stains on the curtains, the elevator to get to your room made a loud alarm for every floor, the walls were thin, so you could hear every other person and door closing in the hallway. Then there was music blaring until 3am right outside the window from the DJ. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I misjudged how exhausted i would be on a redeye flight so when i came in they bent over backwards to take care of me. now im sipping mojitos watching the waves roll in on south beach and life is wonderful again.

The room was clean, unfortunately the coffee maker did not work nor did the in room safe. Music was extremely loud until midnight. I was disappointed with the accommodations.

My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay. check in was a breeze. The room was very clean and spacious. The pool needs some work but everything else is awesome. You are right in the action and it was a lot of fun.

Good afternoon, My name is Jennifer Charles and I had a stay over the weekend for one night at Breakwater Hotel in South Beach room 302 . With my stay at almost $300 a night I at least expected to truly love being in the room but opted to stay out of it as much as possible, being that the smell was horrendous. Not sure if it was mold or the latrine. When I complained about that, housekeeping, left a can of air freshener for us to spray to get rid of the smell. We had to stay with the windows open and no screen for the rest of the night. There was also leaking on the floor as if it was coming from the bathroom into the room. The TV did not work as well. with all this being said, the staff was lovely. I write to speak to a manager, so I can ensure that this doesn’t happen to another patron. Thank you for your time.

Beautiful hotel, extremely well located. A bit old but well maintained Just keep in mind there’s not a show in the restaurant every night just on the weekends

Right in the middle of everything! Desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable of area. Valet was fast. Nightlife was just a step out your door. Fun stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Depends what you are looking for. I searched for "Art Deco" area and I ended up in South Beach. It's a lovely hotel if that's the experience you are looking for. But I was with my family and none of us slept due to the noise until 5am. If I was 25 - would have been amazing. Staff was very nice and apologetic, but we should have never booked there in the first place. I'd recommend for a family free weekend if you are looking to be out most of the night.
