Pretty basic. It was the perfect place for us to stay at the time, and very close to a lot of cool stuff.

I don’t even know what to start start I made a reservation at the Del Mar hotel because I’m one of the ones that actually is going through the whole Altadena fires and I’ve lost my apartment. Must’ve lost my studio and I pretty much lost. I lost everything I had. I got Del Mar hotel because it looked like peaceful it was it was nice colors. It was beautiful, but they didn’t get there. it’s not what they were promoting on the ad all the walls were scratched needed bad paint jobs the there was a bullet hole in the wall the AC unit was completely dirty. It had dust of all kinds and mold, and it didn’t even have a cover on the AC. The bed was disgustingly dirty it stains. I don’t even know where they came from. There was a kind of wrapper in one of the drawers, and by the way, two of the dressers did not have drawers. It was just it was just a dresser with the missing drawers. They didn’t bother to cover it the chair wasn’t a desk was falling apart. The plugs were not working. The TV kept going off and on the restroom, and this is where I want to complain, the restroom had mold mildew. The exhaust fan was about to collide. It was falling apart as well. The shower rod was completely tarnished. It wasn’t even clean. There were spiders coming out of the drain. The whole apartment was completely dirty. the doors were just stain with residue of dirt. I’m not trying to complain however, understand my point of where I’m coming from I’ve lost everything that I’ve had right now and I want

The pictures shown are completely different from the room irl, the bathroom is definitely not the same and overall is dirty, there was graffiti over the bed, the walls were peeling and the AC smells, looks like maintenance is pretty much inexistent, the hair dryer is a fire hazard that has been "fixed" with electrical tape so if you touch it with wet hands you may be in for shock treatment. The description reads "no deposit required" but once you go to check in there's a printed sign that states "MANDATORY $100 DEPOSIT" and the night receptionist was rude about it, he said unless we paid the deposit we were not getting the room and has to be cash, but when I went to check out the next morning I was asked if I had given my deposit credit or cash, which made no sense whatsoever and I had to remind the receptionist to give my deposit back.

La habitación estaba comoda, ordena y limpia, con facil acceso para ir a pie a lugares de comida y del paseo a la fama muy cerca, esta promedio 15 mnts o un poco mas de Estudio Universal en carro, si no te gusta el ruido de la calle al dormir no te lo recomiendo porque esta cerca de una calle principal y se escucha mucho en la madrugada el sonido de los autos, el personal de limpieza amable y respetuosas al realizarla, primero preguntaron antes de entrar. Todo muy comodo, y el precio para la fecha es accesible. En elnestado abundan los indigentes asi que se veran por muchos lugares, en general estuvo bien.

The property still charged me $100.00 for my deposit that they said they will credit back to my account.

This place show be CLOSED. the picture in Expedía do not reflect the reality of this place. I was today on room 203 a total nightmare. The light keeps flickering it won’t turn on completely. The water in the shower won’t turn off water was running all night. The lights the outlets are destroyed. The room smelled like feces, moldy and the toilet sit was so discussing it’s peaking off the plastic from it. In other words a TOTAL nightmare. The worst place I ever stayed in my life. Lots of weird people walking around the parking lot. I got up at 11:00 pm and left to a different hotel. RUN FROM THIS PLACE.

Good for a weekend visit, nothing special. Walking distance to Hollywood blvd and close to the sunset strip.

The room had a musty odor that we later found mold in the bathroom, bathroom also had broken tiles, TV had no local or major networks, could not watch the world series game. Air conditioning/ heat was so loud that you could not sleep. the room had ice buckets but no ice. I would say the staff was very nice and the outside of hotel was very clean

Between hotels.com and this hotel, I am completely unsatisfied. I have been booking through hotels.com for years at this hotel as this is a yearly trip for me. I have always booked as a single traveler and a double bed room. In all of my years booking this way, this was the first year it became an issue. My husband and elderly mother have always been with for my trips. It has always been the same guy running the hotel but this year was all new people. Upon checkin, the clerk failed to notify me of any issues with my booking. She checked me in and I went about my day. Four days later the manager knocks on my door to tell me I owe an additional $500 if I want to continue my stay. I paid in full and upfront to get any discounts that may apply. I booked for 7 days but was being told that that money I paid to hotels.com only covered for the rest of that day unless the additional $500 was paid to cover the remaining 3 days. I had no choice but to pay this money or risk losing somewhere to stay or having my belongings held hostage. The hotel claims that they needed to charge me for the extra people in my room. They charged me an additional $65 per person per day but yet if I had modified my booking with hotels.com, it would have only been an additional $6.50 per person. Due to the hotel waiting 4 days to notify me of such charges, hotels.com refuses to do anything because I failed to modify my booking before checkin. Had i known this at checkin, this could have been avoided.
