we had a short one night stay as we were traveling thru and the room was quiet even though it was right next to the elevator, so we got a good night's sleep. it was comfortable and set up w/a USB connection on a nightstand, microwave & mini-frig.

I will start with the positive, the rooms are beautiful and spacious! Now into the rant... Staff: With the elevator being out of order (which I understand, beyond their control), they needed that excuse to be dismissive and rude. While you have frustration about your current working condition, please do not take it out on your customer. Room: While the rooms were esthetically beautiful, my refrigerator didnt work, so i had to eventually throw my food away. Our initial room was swarmed with roaches and it was evident at first glance, but staff was accomodating and got us another room, but how did they not know this beforehand?? It's not like the roaches were hiding! And the staircase was eerie and unsafe. There was buckled concrete flooring that if not careful, you would take a serious fall. Overall 3 stars because, again, the property was nice, maybe just a bad weekend to visit

I did appreciate a call saying that the elevators are not working, I didn't think they would not be working the whole time we were there. Being on the 5th floor was are for us that are offer 50 with grand kids 3 years old. Other than that the rooms were clean the breakfast was good. The elevators should have been fixed ASAP

Check-in was a breeze and the room was mostly as expected, as I have come to expect from "Hyatt Place". The issues with the room: 1). Hot water not "on" at faucet in bathroom; 2). Water pressure very low in shower; 3). Light burned out over couch; 4). Thermostat not working well on heater (too warm). On the other hand, room was clean, towels fresh, kitchen well equipped, bed wonderfully comfortable, to start with.
