Hyatt Place Fort Myers/at The Forum

We had reservations through hotel.com....upon checkin they had trouble finding our reservations. One of our rooms had blood on the sheets when we went in and the room they changed us to had a very noisy ac. Breakfast was basic....waffles were rubbery.....hotel staff were often not at front desk for help. Tried the pool...two of the lounge chairs were broken and there were no pool towels available.

Bathroom was very small. Beds very comfortable. Staff was amazing, so friendly.

Bleach smell and stains on carpet.made me think room was being scrubbed for a body. Tub looked like it was redone but no slip in bottom of tub was bubbling up and pealing. Like it wasnt install correctly.

Overall the room was in poor condition due to the stained carpet/ furniture and lack of cleaning that took place. The walls of the shower were full of hair and the furniture was coated in dust. The complimentary breakfast was not good, so you should be prepared to eat elsewhere if you choose to stay at this property.

Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Staff is friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable although the carpets and sofa looked stained and in need of a deep cleaning. Otherwise, for the price, the room was fine.

Nice rooms, only one elevator worked and the breakfast eggs were cold both mornings, but would stay again. Great staff and comfortable beds.

Upon checking in we asked if we could change our reservation from 5 nights to 2. We were told we could not and that we could keep the room keys until check out. Disappointed but understood. We checked in and were provided keys to room number 430 when getting in the room - our toilet had feces in it unflushed. We went down and the team lead apologized and provided the room next door. We at that time were given room 432. We went out for dinner and used the refrigerator to place our uneaten pizza and desert. Thursday we had appointments and arrived back at 330 only to find a hanging tag on the door to clean later. We did not put it on the door and the room did not have clean towels or bed made - no service done at all. We needed to shower and change to attend another event. Dirty and wet towels - unhappy to say the least. At 7:00 am the fire alarm went off. - fire dept arrived - your staff provided no notification or showed any concern - ultimate failure. We asked upon leaving to. Have room cleaned and prepared (3:30-4:00 pm) we were gone until Sunday morning - upon our return we were going to eat the left over food we had placed in the refrigerator - it was gone. We shared with front desk team and they apologized, that’s it. We also took showers Sunday night only to find the towels with holes in them. Overall the experience e was extremely disappointing. We stayed at this facility 2 years ago and it was - 4.5 star rating - today 1 at best. The carpets were dirty in the
