There is no front desk at this property. Prior to arrival, guests must complete online registration with the property via a secure link. Guests will be asked to provide the property with a copy of their government-issued photo ID before arrival. If you are planning to arrive after 8:00 AM please contact the property in advance using the information on the booking confirmation. Guests will receive an email 24 hours before arrival with check-in instructions. The host will greet guests on arrival. A virtual front desk provides assistance to guests. Guests can choose to either self-clean the property prior to check-out, or pay an additional cleaning fee at check-out (exact amount varies). At check-in, guests must provide a record of full COVID-19 vaccination. The COVID-19 vaccination record requirement applies to all guests aged 21 and up; guests must have received complete COVID-19 vaccination at least 7 days prior to check-in.

Best stay ever !!! Felt like I was family , she cooked us breakfast in the morning and also offered lunch and dinner , and also addressed that every Wednesday was laundry day and it was included with our stay, and told us if we pay for two days that we have the option to stay the third day free of charge

Horrible horrible treatment. I asked to stay another night, they rejected my stay and threw my items out to the street. When I entered the lobby to get my things, they threatened me with aggressive behavior. Unsafe hotel that should not be on Expedia.

Rene is very friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. The communication is great. The environment is quiet and clean. This was my second time staying there, and I will definitely be back!

This Guest house was everything way better than a regular hotel...the host outstanding....A must use its design especially for traveling nurses and business class assoiates like myself and my free nights.... give them a call its worth it...every PENNY!!!!

I had to arrive late. Didn’t receive check in email as indicated on reservation instructions. The phone number doesn’t work and when I contacted Expedia Jays Ranch called me told me to call when I arrived. They didn’t answer my call. I sat outside on a dark street at 1030pm and waited for 15 mins. I finally left and had to find a place to sleep. They won’t give me a refund. Very bad. Don’t go there!

We really liked the house, the host and atmosphere. I would say would be nice to add some milk and coffee in the kitchen, so guests can use it.

Not what I was expecting. Inside seemed sort of nice but outside was unkempt. A room with private bath in someone's house, not what I would consider a ranch or bed and breakfast. I don't like last minute changes. Please post rules of house in the listing: Required photos of drivers licenses of all parties. Parking on the street. No shoes in the house. I guess for the price I should have known better. Didn't like the vibe. We decided to just leave immediately, find a better place, and lose our "non-refundable" payment.

This is a wonderful, affordable place to stay tucked away in a quiet suburb. Renee was absolutely incredible and made sure that we were taken care of. She was gracious and hospitable in an unparalleled fashion. The rooms themselves are well kept and quiet. I am used to having to pay far more for the incredible value I got from this place. Can't recommend them enough! Whenever I come back to Connecticut, THIS is the ONLY place I'll ever consider staying.

We called weeks ahead to cancel but they would not waive charge according to Expedia. So we did not stay at Jays Ranch but forgot to cancel also. Staff was very nice to call us next day to see why we didn’t show up and they knew about the refusal of credit denial. Staff felt bad because there had been a mix up on us being denied refund. So they wanted to give us a free stay or give us our money back. Because we chose not to stay I told them no need for refund because we forgot to cancel so was our fault. They were very kind to do all of this.

The property is beautiful! Nice and clean. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. And you can’t beat the price. I’m definitely coming back here next time I come to Hamden.
