See my earlier submitted coments... Desperately needs rehab. Pictures online nit even close to reality.

Hotel is old and in disrepair. Staff was kind and friendly but would not stay there again due to condition of rooms and hotel in general. Even the furniture had holes in it

We knew it was under construction but one night it was pitch dark on our side. A softball tournament must have been close by and the girls were running around pounding and screaming all through the night, they were even crank calling our room and we had to disconnect our phone . Other than that it was nice and great breakfast

it was being remodeled, the room was outdated, and was not as clean as I would like. Staff was very friendly

The outlets didn't work, the phone in the room didn't work.

The floors were dirty and turned your feet black. Bathroom sink did not drain very well. Asking for extra towels seemed like a hassle. The breakfast was mediocre.

Clean rooms pool and gym nice breakfast helpful staff they are renovating the rooms I look forward to returning on my next trip to California

Given a room with heavy cigarette smoke smell. The property was aware as they had the AC on high in an attempt to clear the smell. They assigned us the room anyway. However they did move us at my request. The property has being under renovation for a year but there is no evidence of any progress. The property and rooms are the same old, dingy dirty rooms. We stayed here before and thought the renovation would be done and the rooms were nicer. Not the case. They told us nothere would be no Shower takes 5 minutes for a person to get wet. The tub is scratched and dirty in the corners. The tile grout is nasty dirty. The property does not provide wash cloths. Not sure how a person is supposed to wash. They do provide soap, shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast consists of hard boiled eggs, cereals and a waffle station. Some old tangerines that should have been thrown away. The hard boiled eggs were old with grey yolks so I didn’t eat them. Heard stories from guests that the scrambled eggs and potatoes the day before were nasty. They said they couldn’t eat them It’s amazing to me this property gets 90% rating on Expedia. It’s really more of a 70%. An okay place to stay if you’re on a budget and can overlook the things I mentioned.

Everything was good

We checked in quite late, but very impressed with the property, our room, etc. The person that checked us in was professional, courteous and quick! All in all, a great, safe place to stay!!

Friendly and comfortable. Felt safe. Pool was great and hot tub even better. Check the box for breakfast too!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! We travel often and planned on staying at the Palm Garden in Thousand Oaks!! Then we saw La Quinta close by. It was $50/day cheaper so we booked it. Considering that it was in Thousand Oaks, we thought it SHOULD be decent!! Out of all the hotels I've stayed in all over the nation, this is in the top 5 worst!!! Everything about it, food, empty soap, not enough towels, kind but unhelpful staff, jacked up elevator, crazy washing machine app, the room (dated and dirty)...just everything!! The only good thing about it is the location. This hotel needs a COMPLETE makeover!!! I wonder what corporate thinks about the consistent horrible reviews!!

Delit (?) was amazing when we checked in! She advised us of remodeling in progress, and since we had grandkids with us, asked if we wanted a room overlooking the pool. There were some minor issues with the room ( needed more towels, etc), but easily taken care of. The kids really enjoyed the "make your own waffles" at breakfast, and enjoyed their pool time! All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Not a tidy place.

Always a quiet pleasant stay.. I had to stay away from home cuz I got the flu. They have the best bed in the suite. Rm 309. That alone sped up my recovery. I feel much better after those nights rest. Thanks guys. Ur the best

It appears the bathroom was not cleaned, there was a prior customers dirty socks hanging on the bathroom door. There was NO MEAT offered for breakfast. Understandable the property was being renovated but does not justify the price for the conditions.

Since they are refurbishing...I didn't know until too late--I booked and received one of the OLD rooms--filthy carpet, no soap or amenities--noise starting at 7:45 every morning. In the bfast area--got there by 8, NO water or faucets to just fill my mug. Coffee yes-but water, none. Just a poor experience--under new management or ownership, using the LaQuinta name. Will NOT ever stay there again!
