Great stay.

My wife had surgery, I requested a handicapped room. So it was close to a Dennys for easy access

The staff was superior, the breakfast much appreciated. The only issue was it very hard to enter property by car and because it was next to a Dennys, our wknd there meant we were searching for parking.

Pool cold room needed moved lost medicine

We stayed for six nights in La Quinta Inn, Chula Vista and it was really good. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The breakfast was good with vegetarian options. The hotel staff was helpful and the customer service was good. The free parking facility attracted us to this hotel. And we were not disappointed. Vegetarian breakfast options: hot oat meal (self prepared in the microwave oven), bagels, raisin bread, muffins, toast, cream cheese, butter, hot sauce, picante sauce (I recommend you try this), waffles, coffee, juices For those who eat eggs: boiled eggs, egg cheese breakfast sandwich on a muffin.

This was our go-to place whenever we visit San Diego but lately this time the floor

The rooms were musty, smelled moldy, asbestos ceilings, power went out they were not prepared not accommodating,no updates, no empathy, still charged the day worst night sleep ever, worst customer experience ever, homeless taking all the ice, no security, gangster's walking around with no shirt's durags, I busted a guy claiming to be doordash pulling on all the doors looking for an open one! Super disappointed, if you need just a bed, beds we're okay but who ever cleaned my room did do an amazing job!

Very conveniently located, right off the 805 next to a Denny's. Checked in right away, staff was very friendly. Room was priced very appropriately, comfortable and with the amenities we needed. Nice bathroom, decent shower. Television programming left a lot to be desired, though. And the television was way too small for the room. We did encounter a couple of roaches walking on top of the refrigerator near the microwave, which really did not please us. Understanding that they do come out during the warm weather, we did report it to the front desk. We appreciated their response and made a note to take care of it going forward. John at the front desk was terrific. If necessary to book another hotel in the near future in this particular area, I would consider this once again.

Always stay here while visiting mom in memory care..

Too close to freeway - noise an issue Lot's of construction debris and equipment making it a little bit harder to park. Room was extremely clean!

First room offered, I think it was 211 facing the pool. The door was concaved inwards when you are looking from the outside. That means someone must have really pushed the doors from the top and from the bottom to seriously bend the door like that. We can hear people outside because the door was so warped. They offered a second room which was nice but it smelled like someone was smoking in it and they had to fabreeze it out. They had a power failure next day but to be fair, it's not their fault. It seemed fairly safe. But I would rather choose another option next time.
