Just amazing. The only problem was that even though smoking is not allowed, the room did smell slightly of very old cigarette smoke. I just kept the window a bit for fresh air and the smell went away. The room was a 4th floor walkup, w/ narrow steep high stairs. Real wood floors, high ceilings, very old, gorgeous, awesome. Person who worked there so helpful when I needed help with a few things, immediately came up to help. Great neighborhood. Nice kitchens+bathroom w/ hot shower. So impressed! Thank you so much!

Great spot to stay if you mostly only need a place to sleep. The shared kitchens and bathrooms are clean and updated but nothing fancy. Great to have a fridge and microwave available. Rooms are SMALL great NY experience.

This was our first stay here. We lucked out and had a room on the first floor next to the shared bathroom. The shared bathroom was clean and never had an issue with it being occupied when needed. There are no extra towels to put on the floor in the bathroom, so when you get out of the shower it can be slippery. Also no shelf in the shower to put shampoo or soap on. The overall experience was great. You are within walking distance to a lot of NYC attractions. There is a parking garage 2 blocks down. Close to a subway entrance. No pool or work out area. The price was good. Would stay at again.

Have more people on site and TRAIN THEM If there is an issue with a customer on site. Half the time I was told the supervisor is on vacay in Alaska (which is fine) and only they know how to operate the system. Anything can happen you guys come on

Overall, my stay here met my expectations for what staying at a hostel and sharing space with other guests would be like. Your mileage may vary based on who else is also a guest at the time, with regards to noise levels and cleanliness of shared bathrooms, but I had a great stay. I came into town for work and knew I wouldn't be spending a ton of time in a bedroom, so the space and ease of access exactly fit my needs. I'd stay here again if I get another opportunity to visit NYC!

The person that greeted us at our arrival was very helpful and provided us with all of the required information promptly. The common areas and bathrooms were very clean contrary to our room (3E) which had spider webs hanging from the ceiling, carpet was stained, walls need a fresh cleaning and probably a new coat of paint. Bed mattress and linings were so so.

Small room, which was incredibly hot all night and had no option to change the temperature. Very noisy all night from the street below and the hostel itself. Would recommend for 1/2 night stays as it’s in a good location but definitely not for longer as it didn’t feel worth the money for lack of comfort/space.

The guys who checked you in were awesome. The facility was super clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Hard time checking in!!! Wanted gov issued ID even tho I had my license and multiple credit cards!

Towels were never delivered. The room was extremely cold, walls were filthy as was the area rug amd padded chair with multiple stains. Would not take much to make it clean.
