Perfect!

My wife and I love this place! It’s a great place to stay to get away for awhile. The beach is right next to it and you’ll even find horseback riding there (not through the hotel). You can climb to the top of the lighthouse and see a great view. The rooms are excellent, and the staff are very helpful, respectful and kind.

Check in was smooth, there was plenty of parking and the ocean is down the road and you can either walk to it or drive on the beach. The hotel has a t.v, fridge, blow dryer, coffee maker, couch, toiletries if needed.

Service good, facility is fair.

The room is spacious and with a setting area, the hotel is 5 minutes walking distance to the beach

Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly. Once we got to our room, we unpacked and got ready for the night. The first thing we noticed was the door would not fully close unless you pulled rather hard and slam it closed. Creating a loud noise. *When I would leave to let our pup out early, the noise from the door would wake her.* Once we got back from our night out we decided to use the jetted tub. Which was a very bad decision. The tub was very dirty and the jets shot out brown foam and mucus from previous stays. Being absolutely disgusted, we took a shower. And that tub would not drain. Needless to say, our amazing night out turned into a frustrating stay in.

The setting is beautiful with easy access to the beach and ocean views. The person managing the morning breakfast set-up was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The public areas were neat and clean but the ice machine on our floor was out of order, and so was the hotel's hot tub. After looking at other reviews, apparently that has been the case for several months. We were traveling with another couple and at check-in asked if we could be assigned rooms on the same floor, but we were told that rooms were already assigned and couldn't be changed because we had booked the room through a third party. We were told if we had booked directly with the hotel, they could have changed the rooms, which makes no sense, but that was the only explanation we were given. The room was large and comfortable, but there were housekeeping and maintenance issues, such as burnt-out lightbulbs, and the ceiling fan was filthy. If you like soft, clean towels, this is absolutely not the hotel for you. The towels were horrible. They were small, dingy, and as rough as sandpaper. We won't stay at this hotel in the future because of the attitude at check-in regarding booking the room through Experian.

The place was old. The furniture was broken down and not comfortable to sit on.

The bedroom and the main rooms are spacious for family suite with 2 king-size beds. It’s confusing that one place it said 2-bedroom, but the receipt said 1-bedroom. The free breakfast had decent choices, but didn’t taste that good. We couldn’t see the ocean from the second floor. It’s pretty quiet. Parking was plenty. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t bring towels or other things to your room. You have to go to pick them up yourself.

We would return, and would recommend to others.

The room was very clean and very big, had an excellent water view and all the amenities were nice!

Always are go to spot as it’s get for and R and R. Close to the beach easy access to everything.

Always a pleasure staying at the lighthouse

The location was absolutely perfect with a short 5-minute walk to beach or to the picturesque walkway through the dunes where deer roam. The dog friendly environment at the hotel was much appreciated. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pool was nice and warm and refreshing after a cool walk on the beach. Sauna felt great. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service indefinitely throughout our stay. Our sliding glass door to the back patio was a nightmare to open and close, did not “slide”. Had to put your back into it to open or close. However, to me, small thing. A-ok breakfast each morning, however, Labor Day weekend was busy and they would run out frequently but replenish in a short time. Standard continental breakfast with eggs and bacon/sausage, waffles, yogurt, juice, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, etc. Not sure if the hotel staff is supposed to bring in fresh towels daily or by request, but if it was not requested, they were not attentive to the room or supplies. However, when brought to their attention, quick service followed. There was a weight room with a few machines. Elliptical , treadmill, stationary bike, weights. My 7-year old son had the time of his life, and to be honest, so did I.

We really like the property because of the walking distance to the beach. Tabitha, the kitchen lady was super nice and friendly. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at 6AM. I really like the making of waffles. The biscuits and gravy was delicious! The free parking was definitely a plus. Overall, my family enjoy the indoor swimming pool late night too get our exercise. Thanks for taking care of us!

Very run down and not very clean. Room smelled musty/mold

Will be returning, kids loved the Pool and Breakfast. Close to Ocean Shores shopping. The lighthouse is very nice, excellent views. We got a free upgrade and loved the room.

Big bummer that the hot tub was still not working. Booked under the assertion by Lighthouse that it was being worked on months ahead of our arrival. Would’ve never stayed here knowing that the hot tub was still not working. Not acceptable for this price point. Trip ruined.
