This was actually my favorite motel over our 3-week road trip. I didn’t realize there was no fridge/microwave, but we had an ice chest. The bed was comfortable, I loved the window seat for morning coffee, it was clean, and quiet on our floor. The lobby had a really strong smell of pot. There were 2 people in the lobby waiting area but it might have been related to guests on ground floor. The check-in clerk's name was Happy and he was so awesome. He was helpful, cheerful, and had great suggestions for dinner as well as places to stop along I80 as we travel west. The room was smaller but it didn’t really feel too cramped. It was warm and inviting. Great experience.

My business trip got cut a day short but the hotel owner refused to credit the night I didn’t stay. “What a cheap skate, and thief”.
Also the room wasn’t cleaned after my first night, and the hair dryer in the bathroom was broken. He said he would replace it, but didn’t. No ice bucket either.
And the free breakfast was stale biscuits and gravy.

The staff was rude. They were having a computer problem and insisted that I was giving them a bad credit card. Then proceeded to charge me for the room twice. When I requested a refund the next day over the telephone they charged my card again. I didn’t need to spend my vacation time on the phone resolving this issue.

Was not impressed with this hotel. I can’t remember the last time I got a room that did not have a refrigerator. This hotel needs some updating. The door going to the bathroom did not latch when closed. The TV location was very high for how small it was. When we first arrived into our room, we turned on the light switch as the curtains were drawn and the room was very dark. The light flickered several times but did not come on until we walked into the room and turned on a different light. There were no napkins in the kitchen area. We had to use paper towels from the sink area instead.

Clean, ironing board, TV too small. A few cosmetic things could be improved. The entire front door covered in finger prints, but a quiet and peaceful stay.

I didn’t even stay in the room. I walked in and left immediately the smell was terrible. We called the front desk to see if they could do anything about it. They said “what you want me to do”? The bathroom wasn’t the best. I don’t know if they have newly renovated rooms but mine was not. Asked for a refund considering me not staying waiting to hear back.

I had a little trouble understanding the check-in staff as their English was not good. My bedside lamp in my room offered 120v electrical and USB outlets, but both were broken, unusable, need to be fixed. Otherwise, the room, bath and outdoor lighting was very good.

Not complaining because it was a low price and we just wanted a quick stay, but we got what we paid for. The pillows were like rocks. That said, under the same circumstances Id stay there again.

The property and staff were average which I expected. The desk clerk asked me three times if I had a pet which I didn’t??? Room was clean but average. Breakfast was subpar. Feel like I paid too much for the stay

Clean, comfortable and location was good. Booked through Expedia, but when I called directly to the Hotel to ask to reduce our stay by one night, I was put off by staff / owners and told they could do nothing for me, and since I booked through Expedia, would have to deal with them about it. Expedia was great, and got our reservation fixed, but had to call the Hotel directly to do this. I feel like the hotel could have fixed this from my call to them.

The only place I have ever stayed that will not let you take breakfast to the room very strange and have a diabetic mother I was going to take breakfast to in the room and staff pointed to a sign on the wall not take food out.

The room worked for what we need and rhe staff was very nice. The room walls werent clean nor were the hallway walls cleaned. I found some type of stain on the wall in the room and i cleaned it up.m but for the life of me; I cant figure out how they didnt see when cleaning the room. The main hallway on the first floor has similar stains and just plain gross. Up on the 3rd floor there was a something hanging from the stairwell ceiling on the northside. Looked like a possible wasp nest instead. Didnt hang around to get a picture.
Other than that....friendly staff...rooms and inside of the building could use some work
