The lady at the front desk was really sweet and wonderful to deal with. The breakfast was really good and well stocked. All the staff was amazing and accommodating.
On the negative; do better government of Washington…
They have a fair amount of government subsidized long term homeless renters that are unruly, rude, abusive towards the staff, make a mess on the property and just in general make the stay a little stressful. It was awful to watch helplessly as these people abused the hotel staff and the property in general. The unruly homeless in general what made the area unsafe. The hotel is forced to have the very people that are terrorizing citizens stay in their hotel. They take up all the main floor rooms and when we drove past one person was just naked laying on the bed. The other had a full camp style BBQ set up smoking away just outside their room.
Through out all of the scary interactions the staff had with the unruly homeless occupants. The staff remained polite, calm and respectful of these hooligans ans their inflated sense of entitlement(knowingly having power over the poor staff). I offered to dial 911 on one occasion and the poor lady said it wouldn’t help as the Police take the side of the homeless and it just makes the homeless abuse them more and break more things.
They did have a few elderly homeless long term guests that were very polite and seemed to be grateful for the use of the property.

It was a quick stay, as we arrived late at night (after 10pm) and departed in the morning around 9am. It was pet friendly and fairly close to the border. I imagine it would have a different feel in the summer, as the pool and hot tub was closed. We were impressed by the breakfast, which wasn’t great, but exceeded our expectations. Also, a disc golf course was within a 10 minute walking distance of the hotel. BIG plus.

Staff needs customer service training. He appeared as if he was offering free service without being paid. No sign on of a warm welcome, how do they get hard?. Other parts of the hotel seemed nice and clean.

We stayed in two different room because I added an extra night onto the front of my original reservation. Both rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. I appreciated how easy the lady who helped me made it for checking into the new room. Since it was early in the day she allowed me to turn in my 1st room keys and gave me the keys to the new room because we would not be getting back to the room until very late. We did not eat the breakfast or use any other amenity at this hotel, only slept there. Overall great experience and I would recommend this hotel.

I the first room we got was not clean and the sheets on the beds were stained and dirty. The bathroom door had a huge crack in it and the walls were damaged. We changed rooms and while the second room was cleaner the floor was clearly slanted toward the middle and the drawers on both the dresser and the nightstand would open by themselves and not stay closed. The gentleman who ran the desk at night was very helpful, but there was nothing he could obviously do. We ended up deciding not to stay the second night and just went home.

It was my first time back to Bellingham after a few years. I was comfortable and pleased with the room, location, breakfast. More importantly, was the oustanding customer service of Ali and MJ!!! They were present to me and other customers. They went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and warmth. There was a error with charges and Ali assured me and rectified the situation. I will be making periodic trips to Bellingham and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Ali and MJ for making my stay enjoyable, safe and comfortable😊🙏

New to Bellingham so I am happy to find a place for the time I need to get to know the area and find a long term place to live. The management is thoughtful and considerate of the people who stay here, unusual for a place at this price range. Definitely a family and even a cute romantic getaway that won't break your budget, or alert your "other other" to your adventures;=€

This motel was less than desirable. It is in need of some serious love! I feel like they’re trying to make upgrades but not quick enough. The room I had was rough & run down, definitely could’ve used a good wipe down.
