My experience at Motel 6 was good. The room I statyed in was clean. The staff at the front desk was professional and nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, who is looking for a nice motel and not trying to spend a lot of money.

I chose Hotel 6 for proximity to RIC due to an ice storm and landing very late at night. Price was right but room was dirty (floor), smelled of cigarette smoke that got in my belongings and the staff did not inform me that the city water was broke and there was a boil alert... I expected a coffee maker but with the water issue it didn't matter. Just disappointed as they used to be better.

The staff is wonderful. The rooms are not as clean as they used to be. Non-smoking rooms are cleaner than smoking rooms of course. But every smoking room I've been in has had roaches.

We just wanted to be close to the airport which was 2 hours away so we could catch an early flight. The place was perfect for that. There were quite hours posted but people in the parking lot were loud. Not the motel's fault. Place was clean.

Front desk was absolutely wonderful she always is pleasant and smiling and happy. But the room on the other hand was not as great. I had dead roaches on the wall.
