I could not see the sign Motel 6 so it’s hard to find however we had a excellent experience at here It is hidden place i like that Great neighborhood to walk around and close to the state beach

Had no idea this was the very first motel 6! What a cool find, it was a great stay and in one of the best places in SB! Will definitely be staying again.

The room was cute and comfortable. My only complaint is that the water in the shower did not get hot.

Probably the nicest 6 I’ve stayed in. Rooms are small, but do the job. Proximity the beach is outstanding. Probably the best budget option in SB.

Not the friendliest staff. Check in time is 3pm, we arrived at 3:30. Got our key and opened the door to find a dirty room; housekeeping had not been in to clean it yet. Went back hoping for another room only to find that that one wasn’t clean either. We were told to come back in an hour and a half. Kinda peeved, but I know stuff happens. We grabbed lunch and headed back after the requested amount of time to see housekeeping just entering our original room to clean it. After a 3 hour road trip, we just wanted a rest before heading out to an event. But with the room still dirty and daylight burning we had to head straight to the event tired and irritated. When we finally got back, the room was “cleaned” but tiny and just really not great; pretty dated. The bed was the best part of that stay, very comfy. We will never stay there again. You definitely do not get what you pay for here. If it was super cheap / budget, hey I get it, but it was kinda pricey and Not worth it at all.

Great motel, great location, cute retro decor. Due to staffing my room was never cleaned for a 3 day stay. I’m ok with that but I had to ask front desk every evening for towels due to housekeeping quitting. Had to empty my garbage daily as well. A bottle of wine was listed but never received.

We stayed at this property because it is the first Motel 6. While the room are on the smaller side, the decor was cute. It is unclear to us the difference between a standard room and deluxe room. The front staff was friendly. Cons: housekeeping was not offered unless we request it; there was no extra roll of toilet paper and we ran out; our room keys had to be reprogrammed every day of our stay, and we had very nosy neighbors who were drinking in front our room and who made a mess.

Check in took forever no one was there, then we got in the room and some of the surfaces were so dirty and sticky we had to wipe them down with wet washclothes. Then a large group of people started to party in the room above us and they went until 5 in the morning with stopping, just stomping and banging the whole night. It was rough.

Renovated place and I was not expecting it to be this nice

Close to the beach and zoo. Very walkable area. Room was cute and quiet

Excellent location

Small room, very basic. The person at the front desk didn’t give us any information about checking in, motel facilities or anything in the area.

Our stay was awesome. The guy who checked us in was very friendly & helpful.

The nicest Motel 6 ever. It is wonderful. And Shay at the front desk is wonderful too!!
