Asked for a ground floor room, away from street noise and we got it! This is a superior property, with good customer service. We'll stay here rather than properties further down the 5.
We've stopped staying at several Motel 6 properties (Carlsbad, Button Willow, Oceanside) because of bad treatment and maintenance issues. I always call to confirm a ground floor room, for we senior citizens, and when one of us gets there, they haven't honored the written or verbal request. Or their promise! And I get lies and inconsisten stories from staff. But, we'll book into this property again. Please take a lesson from the managers of this property and teach it to others.

Didn’t feel like an $87 stay. It suited our purpose for hunting trip with hunting dog but beds, sheets and pillows definitely need upgrading. There were cuts and holes in the aged bedding including an old cigarette burn. I wish I had paid double for the hotel next to Andersen’s or a different place with better bedding. Otherwise clean room and dog friendly. Windows don’t have screens or open far. Maybe a safety issue but some fresh air would have been nice. They have a decent dog relief area near the front office but no poop bags in the box. We stayed on a Friday night and no issues with noise other than road noise being close to freeway exit.

Host was super unfriendly. Room is pretty rundown and there is no coffee maker or remote control for the tv. I guess I should have done more research before booking. Grounds are nice looking.

The Check in clerk was rude and acted like it was a lot off trouble to check me in. They only gave us one wash cloth and one hand towel. The air conditioner blew hot air. We have stayed here several times in years past. This time it had gone down hill.

Although my room was clean meaning the floor and bathroom area... The bedding I have seen homeless people carry around looks cleaner. And in better condition.
A pressure wash on the sidewalks and entry area would help but the bedding is disgusting.

There was no hot water in the hotel. There was a pool, but no water. There was an abundance of flies in the room. It was convenient to the freeway, and fine for one night.
