The staff make this property special. I met a bellman that has been there 29 years! The valet gentleman were the best!!! Front desk super nice. Everyone was friendly soup to nuts! There was a Providence Basketball game across the street at the Amica pavilion. So close!! They have 2 restaurants but we only went to the bar around the block. Marcelino’s boutique bar. Very cute and fantastic drinks small plates to eat. The other bar was upstairs. Not quite big enough for this massive hotel but we got a drink and the bar staff were great! Like I said the staff makes this place special. I usually go to renaissance but will choose this hotel from now on. Have fun!

I have stayed at this hotel many times for cheer competitions and never had any issues. This past weekend the elevators had issues and it was just awful with the number of people trying to get up and down on 2 elevators. If they plan on doing this often then they should put up ropes so that people know that they need to stay within those ropes until it's their turn. So many ignorant people cutting in front of others.

I got charged for the restaurant in the hotel that I never entered or ordered from. I am sure it is a simple mistake, otherwise the staff was great, the hotel was clean and the atmosphere was very nice.

Overall good stay, elevators not operating properly created a back up in the liby and second floor, locking stair doors meant the elevator was the only option.

I genuinely enjoyed our stay, however it was really frustrating that our refrigerator didn’t work so they brought a new one that didn’t work and then when they bought a 3rd one up they just left it in the middle of the floor instead of switching it with the broken one. Other than that it was amazing.

Ed, the engineer was helpful in explaining why the room wasn’t cool enough for me at night. I thought the thermostat was broken but it doesn’t go below 68. I’m a middle aged woman, and keep my house at 64, so that’s way too high for he at night. The second night I got it to 67, I think he made it so. I appreciate that. I don’t need 64, but 68 is too high for my demographic! Also texting with Christine was also a great asset for the weekend.
