This is a great hotel for people, looking for convenience and new construction and cleanliness in New York City. The rooms are very small, but everything is new and everything works. And you’re so close to Grand Central terminal and everything around it we love the staff. And everything was meticulous.

Friendly staff, quiet, comfortable rooms

Booked 2 rooms for 1 night with 4 guest but one of the room’s (2001) conditioner didn’t work at all but lucky the night temperature was not to terrible. Overall all rooms more likely compact sized, clean, friendly staff but no good view

Super clean room and one of best service in town

Rooms are carefully appointed but very small. It's a place to sleep comfortably after a day of being out. The location is excellent and the staff consistently friendly.

I had a mixed experience at the Pestana Park Avenue that I think future guests should be aware of, especially those traveling with companions or pets. The highlights: The staff here are absolutely incredible - welcoming, attentive, and genuinely amazing throughout our stay. The hotel is also wonderfully pet-friendly, which made traveling with our dog so much easier. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have a modern, updated feel that's quite appealing. And you truly can't beat the location - we could walk to all the major NYC destinations we wanted to visit, which saved us time and money on transportation. The challenge: The rooms are extremely small, even by NYC standards. There are no larger room options available, which became quite challenging when staying with my partner and our dog. The space felt cramped with three of us (including our four-legged family member), and it was difficult to move around comfortably or store our belongings. Bottom line: If you're a solo traveler or don't mind very compact accommodations, this could be perfect for you - the service, cleanliness, and location are all top-notch. However, couples or anyone needing more space should definitely consider the room size carefully before booking. The pet-friendly policy is a huge plus if you're traveling with furry companions.

This hotel was such a little gem! The rooms are small but very quaint, nicely decorated and well laid out. They are equipped with nespresso coffee and have a mini bar. The morning breakfast was just right and they offered GF bagels! The quality of the coffee was very good as well. I will be sure to stay again!

We showed up early, the staff took care of our bags so we can explore the city. Excellent location too.

It it a little Portugal in the middle of Manhattan

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! BOOK OTHER HOTELS!! For those who are planning to book, I recommend reconsidering. I booked this hotel because of the high rating; however, I feel I got scammed. First things first: I was charged an extra fee upon arrival for something called a “facilities fee,” with no prior notice or explanation. The room is so freaking small, and I booked the “stream view” yet could barely see any street. More important, I didn’t know the parking garage across the street closes at 10 PM, forcing me to scramble to find parking each night.NOW PLEASE READ MORE CAREFULLY! The room is right next to another room, so you hear all the noise, morning housekeeping, the elevator door closing, guests slamming their door, everything sounds like it’s in your room. I stayed three nights and didn’t get a single good sleep. Also worth mentioning: the AC unit sits directly above the bed and is so noisy. It cycles on and off all night, so I had to turn it off at 2 AM, and then the cleaning staff started up again in the morning. With this price, you could stay at a Hilton or Hyatt and actually rest. I felt completely scammed and utterly exhausted. Please treat yourself better! BOOK OTHER HOTELS!!
