The place needs a refresh. Stayed in room 1528. All night long you can hear the elevator going up and down in the room. Was shocked that there was no USB ports in the outlets. I would think twice about staying here again. The only thing I would say was great about this place is it walking distance to the PPG Paint Arena.

The hotel is a perfect location for events at PPG Arena which is what we were there for. Onsite parking was convenient but it was $30 per day. The area around the hotel is limited as far as dining options go. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again

This property needs better housekeeping practices. My bathroom (toilet specifically) was not properly cleaned. The room had a smokers ting to the walls and it doesnt look like they hire anyone to clean the windows. They could also use an upgrade on their technology. They also had a water problem which made us have to postpone our engagements due to not being able to shower. Overall it's a nice view if the city. But I don't think i will stay here again.

Hotel wreaked of weed on the 10th floor. Was woke up to fighting and screaming in room next to us. First morning had no hot water, waited for 6 hours, still no hot water. Went to front desk to report and was told maintenance was working on it, but the only thing we were offered was to check out early. I asked if they were informing incoming guests, which were many, if there was no hot water. The answer was it was on a case by case basis!!! Cleaning staff told my spouse that floors below 10 are rented to tenants, thus the overwhelming smell of marijuana, which I really don't care who smokes it, but it should NOT be in the hotel. Staff is aware, but either doesn't care or doesn't care to do anything about it. Cleaning staff constantly cleaning floors (which was good) but it doesn't matter when your room smells so bad.

The hotel was great bedding was clean and beds was comfortable but the pool was out of service and restaurant was a bit expensive which I ordered door dash for the whole stay I found the downtown area a bit boring not really much to do in the city definitely will not be visiting Pittsburgh again but Marriott is the place to be for comfort

Stayed here multiple times and always had a great stay until this past weekend where one repetitive problem occurred - no hot water on demand. Staff actually told us to let it run for 30 minutes. That's unacceptable. granted that after not showering on day 1 we did let it run for 40 minutes on day 2 and took luke warm, at best, showers. On day 3 it did heat up after 15 minutes to where we could actually take a hot shower. Regardless, I expect better from Marriott.

Very old, need updates. Clean room, but horrible bed, old pillows. The shower trickled and there was no hot water. Only stay here if you want to be in walking distance to PPG. That was the only plus

Bathroom less than perfect with hairs from previous tenants. Water took forever to get hot (warm). The staff closed the stairs and forced everyone to cram into elevators plus wait in long lines to access the elevators.

Our group occupied three rooms on the 21st floor. All three of us had problems with the hot water. Maintenance person advised this is an ongoing issue (that they obviously will not address). Service from the staff was very good.

The hotel was in walking distance to the PPG Paints Arena. The restaurant/bar was good and so was the staff. The only thing that I didn’t like about the room was it took minutes to get hot water in the shower.

Location was everything we came for the game across the street but it was advertised to have a pool and didn’t. It was confusing to navigate the parking situation which was $30 a day a stranger could park there for the same amount. The escalators don’t work the staff didn’t even explain the directions. Starbucks isn’t actually in the hotel. The tub was dirty. The only good thing was the place was very quiet and the bed was comfy. We did get good sleep.

Nice property. Worked in this office building in the early 1980’s. It was a Hyatt Regency then. Marriott’s done a nice job. The staff at the bar as well as Breakfast (Dee make a great omelet!) were fantastic.
