lack of amenity

Good things first- very nice staff. Everyone was super friendly. Great water pressure. Clean sheets. Seemed fairly quiet except when someone loudly slammed into our door at 3AM. But… the floors in the halls and elevators were dirty, the doors in the elevator looked like someone spilled something sticky on them ages ago and it was still there. Our room had no blanket, no comforter at all. We asked for one and the lovely man at the desk tried to help but could only find a stiff ancient looking stained blanket. Everything is really old and looks like someone tried to fix things themselves. Which is fine if you do it right. 1/2 of the cabinets in our kitchenette wouldn’t open or were really hard to open because someone had painted them poop brown. Didn’t matter anyway as there was not even a cup or silverware to be found in any of the cabinets. Don’t understand why they even keep the kitchenette. The tub was a gigantic VERY old jacuzzi type tub. Shower gel for some reason was attached to the wall by the sink, nowhere near the shower. Sofa in the room was covered in stains. Mattress sunk down in the middle and looked quite old. Sheets were very cheap polyester type. The area is very industrial. Nowhere close by to eat. The hall smells VERY strongly of weed. And another guest told us none of the vending machines were working. As we were leaving I noticed the sprinkler in our room was wrapped in plastic as if to protect it from paint splatter. That is a safety issue. Room 309.

Super convenient for access to the University of Louisville. Facility in need of remodel, noisy, close to the interstate. Breakfast was fine and overall met our purposes.

Getting stuck in the elevator for 5 minutes. Then after we got out it was out of service for hours. Lots of noise from slamming doors. Other wise the room was very nice and clean and the staff was very helpfull.

The front desk was nice however the first room we got placed in had a broken curtain rod and then the next room the phone didn’t work and when we moved the bed we found a use medical syringe probably not for medical use. And cigarettes. But you get charged a holding fee of $100 dollars not to smoke. Bottom line there needs to be some better walkthroughs and clean outs after guest check out. Paint all over our tables in the room.

Upon check in, we were given a “non-smoking room” but it smelled like smoke and there were ashes on the nightstand and the smoke detector had been removed with just wires hanging from the ceiling. They did give us another room which was reasonable. Unfortunately, the environment of the hotel was marginal and many homeless next to the hotel. The second night police were called to the hotel looking for someone. The 3rd night, we were awakened in the middle of the night because of loud music outside in the parking lot for at least 30 minutes. I would not recommend this hotel especially if you are there with kids.

Very dated and run down. Bathroom wasn't clean, there was hair in the tub and spots all over the mirror. Room smelled like cat pee or body odor... Complained to front desk person who offered another room. Other room looked a bit cleaner when we walked in but after going out for dinner came back into the room to find several bugs in the kitchenette and one on the wall. Notified front desk again who said hotel was full except for our original room which he did then clean the bathroom up some and sprayed disinfectant. Honestly, if it wasn't so late and my daughter didn't have to play volleyball the entire next day we would have left.

Good value

Hotel is fine. Nothing special, nothing bad. Good free breakfast.

The room was filthy. What looked like blood splattered on the wall. The ceiling leaked in the bathroom from the room above.

Waited 20 minutes to checkin. Water leaking through the ceiling. Water and dirt everywhere. Room wasn’t clean

Hotel definitely has potential to be good...the location its in, however, is not committed to its success. Thats all im going to state.

People are very nice they do there job right and they do help people out

Roaches in the room

Run down room. Dirty , room not been cleaned. Found a syringe on floor behind bed. Loud music from 1to 6 at nite. Weed smell really bad. Stay away.
