Room and hallway had a bad smell to them. Thermostat didn’t work on the heat/air in the room. Location was fine and room was decent overall for the money.

We booked the hotel because it said to have a heated pool but when we checked in the front desk notified us as we were getting our keys that the pool was unavailable and wouldn’t be fixed during our stay. Imagine my children’s disappointment. We traveled with an infant and was told the hotel could accommodate with a crib for the baby. They only had 2 pack and plays, both that were stained moldy and smelled and one even had garbage still in it. They then told us, oh sorry we really should get new ones and went about their business. The breakfast attendant was rude and overall just a thoroughly disappointing experience.

The room was nasty. There was want appeared to be dried throw-up on the floor. The floor was dirty and sticky. All the surfaces were dirty, dusty and sticky. There was dried substances thrown on the walls. It looked as if the room hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.

I couldn't sleep because the safe in the room kept making noise and flashing lights. Even when I talked to the staff, all I heard was that they couldn't fix it because it was broken. I can also hear coughing from the room next door.

This place has seen better days. There was mold on the celing in the bathroom. The bathroom door was falling apart at the bottom. One of the floor planks in the bedroom area was seperated and had a big gap.

Front desk guy was surly. Set the tone for the rest of the stay. Breakfast was unappealing. Cutting bagels in half for toasting would be a nice touch. Also tried to pay with an AMX gift card ($500 balance) and it was declined - was told Choice Hotels made decision not to accept any and all gift cards.

Curtains ripped in room staff watching tv with feet on chair and could not be bothered - the sports was more important. They use a deodorizer in the rooms & halls because the carpet is filthy. My rooms including bathroom was like putting lipstick on a pig- needs total renovation. Do not stay here!

I have had several trips to the area during which I stay for 5-7 days each time; the staff is friendly and helpful...always. My room is always clean and, if I have any problems, they are addressed immediately.

This property seems to be under renovation. There is a lot of construction material visible in a room off of the lobby. Lobby is bright and clean but it ends there. The rooms are dark and the first room we got had an odor, stains on the bed conforter, leaking tub faucet and a non-functioning TV. The front desk gave us a different room that was clean but still a little dingy. Plus side was the staff was friendly but would stay elsewhere.

This hotel needs a lot of work. One of our rooms had mold in it with a dehumidifier. The hotel smelled bad, service was poor, and the breakfast was horrible. Another family member’s room had dirty sheets and asked for clean sheets, was told they didn’t anymore. My children’s room had bugs in it. This hotel should be shut down by the heath department.
