Quality Inn Elizabeth City near University

My stay was good, no complaints, amenities was good.... room was comfortable.

No restaurant/bar no coffee or coffe pot for coffee machine in room as advertised. On a scale of 1 to 10, a great big 0

I think it was a little weird when u went to go check in that u wasn’t aloud to go into the building u had to speak with them through a speaker.

It was ok I had no complaints. Only the door had no weather strip and the cold air kept coming through the door and the ice machine was broken but other than that it was ok

Theres only so many hotels in Elizabeth City but they need to do some major updating of the facility and staff. I checked in at 8ish, went to grab food. My mom goes to use the microwave and theres colored liquids on the glass bottom. I go to grab some tissue and although the toilet seat is up like someone cleaned, theres not one roll of toilet paper. I try to call the front desk and the phone doesn't work. Find the number online and she says you can come downstairs and pick some up because housekeeping left at 3. My mom went downstairs to report the issues and we weren’t offered an apology or an offer to even switch rooms. Im guessing she knew things werent any better in another room. There was a roach crawling on the mini fridge that still had the prior guests drink inside. My mom killed a roach on the night stand and I founds ants in my bed. I of course took photos/video and reported to Expedia who said it was upto the hotel to address. This was a last minute trip for a funeral so we had a non-refundable rate but still this room was unacceptable. I slept with a blanket I keep in my car on my moms bed. We checked out the next morning.

Pillows smelled bad. Bedding was dirty. Chair was disgusting. Had to switch rooms. Both rooms smelled bad.

Price accessible, compared to others in the region. Globally it is very good hotel in this region.

It was clean and the bed was satisfactory. The surrounding area was busy. The best thing about it was the new WaWa that had its opening across the street.

Nothing to didn't work phone didn't work toilet was blocking the bathroom door. They would not change my room.

The property itself was fine. The area around the hotel wasn't too nice. Lots the of noise, music etc

Roaches...Moldy/Dirty Bathrooms...rooms in disarray, trim broken off, outlets broken off. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I didn't like that the pool hours were very slim! Pool opens at 11:00 am and i wanted to take a swim before checkout. Checkout was also at 11 am! Very user unfriendy! Breakfast was adequate considering the charge.

Building in bad condition, noyse, and see flies and cockroaches

The bathroom was not clean. Stains on the walls. The place could use a big renovation.

The floors were dirty and the beds looked disgusting. They tried moving us to another room but it was just as bad. There were people wandering around the buildings. My son saw a prostitute in the parking lot. We moved to another hotel.

Customer service is very bad. When we go for breakfast there is nothing except make your own waffle and cereal. Coffee maker doesn't make coffee it's coming light brown water. I asked receptionist about breakfast and she told me that's all they have. I was waiting to asked her but she was watching movie or something with high volume. She doesn't notice someone is waiting. Breakfast room is not even clean. We got orange juice and throw away because it bad smell too.

Total dump in a sketchy area

Rommet vi fikk, hadde en veldig dårlig beliggenhet med utsikt rett i en murvegg ca 1 meter fra døra inn til rommet ( en mørk korridor mellom 2 bygg). I korridoren var det et kummelokk som var løsnet og det var satt opp en kjegle over dette som advarsel. Det var søppel i korridoren. I tillegg var det en ungdomsgjeng som løp rundt på området og lagde bråk slik at det ikke var mulig å få sove før kl. 03.00 på natta.

It was a one night stay, not a bad place to stay. The entry door needed a little work to feel a little more secure.
