Terrible customer service. Mit, the front desk rep, was awful. My daughter had a softball tournament, and we decided last minute to stay in Riverside since their last game ended very late and they played early the next morning. When we checked in, the lobby had a funny smell, and the room had the same smell. My daughter was going to shower, but when she turned on the water, there was no cold water. After waiting a couple of minutes, I called the front desk. Mit said he had to come upstairs to verify there was no hot water. After waiting for 30 minutes, I called again, and it was almost 11 PM. He yelled, saying he was the only one working and told me to wait. Within 10 minutes, I called again and requested a refund, which he agreed to. He told me to come down to the lobby, but when I got there, he said I needed to call Expedia, raising his voice. Luckily, I got a good rep from Expedia and got a refund. While waiting for confirmation that my room was canceled, Mit ignored me for about 10 minutes and then said, 'Well, what are you waiting for?' At that point, I was done. Thank God for the Expedia rep and the Marriott next door. Lesson learned: don't go cheap, even if it's for one night.

Once you are in the room it’s ok except for the old motel smell of smoke ingrained in everything, but generally grungy, dark and it’s dirty outside. Breakfast was ok, coffee was good. I’ve stayed here before and swore I never would again but the low price drew me back. You get what you pay for so if the money is a motivating factor this is fair. But I won’t be back, until they refurb it at least.

The rooms were hot; clean but hot the water was hot as well so great for shower only we couldn’t get the room to cool down and that is why we had to rate it low

No one really bothered us and if we needed to go anywhere we could easily walk. Very nice and convenient

Very nice quiet place

Booked hotel after reading good reviews about it. Unfortunately, it was not as expected. Front desk staff was great at check in. After traveling all day from the east coast with a 1 yo we were exhausted and were in bed by 630pm. Upon waking up we noticed red stains were on the side of the pillows and bed. One pillow on my husband side and sheet on my side. Walking around we also saw a red stain on the carpet as well. We told the front desk and they sent someone to look at stains and she straight up blamed us and said the carpet stain was normal and it was paint. Neither of us had cuts to bleed onto the sheet and pillow case. And why would I go and tell them about the stains if we did them. My baby dropped something and I saw that under the couch it was dirty and stuff was left behind. I contacted Hotels.com they spoke to the front desk who then went to say it was our blood and we should’ve reported up on check in. Got a call from the manager and he said the sheets were changed and we could check out or change rooms if we wanted to. We got back from work at 7pm so the last thing we wanted to do was move everything or look for another hotel, being that it was memorial weekend. He did say he would refund one night but that hasn’t happened. If you stay in this hotel…. Check your sheets and floor. Also, I know weed is legal in California, but going to sleep with a baby with weed smell is not good. Area is also not the best in Riverside. Just beware.

Check in was smooth. The reservation was in order, so the process went well. The breakfast was decent, could have used a broader variety of fruit.

The room was clean but the shower wood not stop running. Management said they knew about the problem.
