Very polite and clean

Nice hotel

Pool was great but the pool porch was very slippery and unsafe. I slept a few times.

It was fair. The place is outdated and old, but it must have been a palace long ago. I think they are remodeling, which is much needed. The service was excellent.

Staff was great! Room was clean and comfy ..just outdated But saw pictures of the renovations. Can't wait to see it !

The clerk was having a problem checking in the guest ahead of us. It took a long time. It appeared the clerk didn't know what he was doing.

Stayed 1 night, was quiet, convenient to where we needed to be at for a graduation. Was weird some guy was asking us what room we were in when getting breakfast.

Nice place

Breakfast was poor. No juice. Limited choices. Same food every day. Hotel was under renovation. Fridge door would shut and needed defrost. Requested new room and fridge was so tiny and held maybe 4 cans of soda. Workers left shop vac in hallway over weekend. Hotel maintenance was only available after 3pm second shift. It was a horrible stay at a hotel used to be the premier place to stay in Cedar Rapids.

The hotel staff was excellent and very accomodating. They didn't have the bar open during the week and there is not a restaurant on sight, but the breakfast was simple and adequate. It was a very enjoyable stay. Great price. clean. Nice staff.

Very good people

Hotel is huge and decor very pleasant . Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable .The free breakfast is very basic. Staff are all very friendly and the front desk agent, Virginia is the best ever ! There are plenty places to eat along the highway and shopping mall nearby .

Run down. No hot water, ground were run down, furniture and floors stained dirty bad.

Room was large and clean, however the bathroom was very tiny. There was a second sink outside of the bathroom, great idea but in this case this space could have been better used to expand the bathroom. Bathroom also in need of renovation as tub had rust marks on the floor of it and the sink was slow to drain. A/C was very loud. No microwave or fridge in room. Breakfast was tasty but very limited in choice, for example, only bread was provided, no bagels, croissants, English muffins, pasties or muffins provided. Also no orange juice, only 2 types of fruit mixes available. Note, hotel is in process of renovations, with the top 2 floors currently condoned off. No one available at time of checkout, and the guy from the breakfast area had to come over and check us out.

Under renovation so should be much better in the future. Currently no hot water, no bar, rooms not great.

What a let down. Very dirty and it looks like "under construction" is just a cover phrase for "we don't give a sh*t." No working ice machines, no refrigerator or microwave in the room,old food on the floor and in the chair provided in the room. The swimming pool is only heated on the weekends! Ugh! The entire property was unmowed and unmaintained completely. Shame on hotels.com for using this place at all! This hotel stay was one of the worst I've ever had. The pictures provided on hotels.com are not even the pics of the hotel! Its the pics of what the hotel will look like in 5 years. This'll be the last time I will use this service.

That itself was the weirdest part of my check in is I go in I got my keys I go up to the room turn the air conditioning on and I couldn't get the temperature to drop below 80° in that room I woke up in the middle of the night having a call down to the desk and tell them that my AC wasn't working and then they sent somebody up to change it or something and then it started to cool off but then come morning time when I went to go get in the shower the there's only one spot on that whole entire knob that would actually work and it was scolding hot call down to the desk and then you know what the desk told me but we can move your rooms you offered to move me rooms at 7:00 in the morning a check out is at 11:00 what would be the purpose why not send a maintenance man up there to fix the water and then when I asked about that the lady kind of got smart with me I wouldn't recommend it

As soon as you pull into the parking lot it looks like a foreclosed property that had been neglected with routine maintenance, mowing, & landscaping. The entrance had two choices to enter, a revolving door that is supposed to sense motion and automatically start revolving and normal double doors that have handicap accessible buttons to operate automatically. The revolving door was broke with no sign and didn’t operate automatically, it did operate manually with significant force. The problem was I saw an elderly man try to enter into it but could only push it so far and he was stuck in it. We were in room 408 and it was fair, typical neglect with most cleaning staff due to mold in the usual places around the bathtub.
