Residence Inn by Marriott Mt. Laurel at Bishop's Gate

This stay was by far my worst hotel stay. The male front desk staff was rude and cold. The female staff was friendlier. The closing of the pool with no notice (the entire reason we chose this hotel) and no compensation provided or offered was unacceptable. When making the reservation I noted I was traveling with a special needs child and service dog and I was placed on the 3rd floor. When my child had an episode in the room I got a complaint call and when I explained the situation I was informed my the same male at the front desk to “handle it”. We subsequently left the room and as we had no pool to redirect him to it was difficult to manage. The room was satisfactory and the grounds were fine (even though they were littered with trash and broken glass) which made it difficult to walk the service dog. It was the lack of communication, rudeness of the staff and poor amenities that have turned me off from ever recommending this hotel to stay.

Property is very secluded yet close to main roads. The seclusion makes the property a quiet and pleasant stay.

And back from attending a wake. Next door had screaming infants at 11pm . Being a parent I understand that. But it continued with loud adult voices . They were drinking as we saw boxes of empty liquor bottles and dirty sheets outside the door . We gave it till midnight and realized they weren’t going to stop so I called front desk and was told gather our belongings and go to desk for a new room Went up to 2 nd floor and new room smelled as if it was used by a smoker so we went down again for another room . This was made difficult as I had recent shoulder surgery was In a sling . We had 3 bags as well as large carry bag for dress clothes as we are In Town for a funeral. We finally got to sleep around 130am . When we got up to shower and dress the room did t have a hair dryer. They sent us one to the room and it was broken and wouldn’t turn on . This coupled with the fact with the

Good except for the toilet being broken, but the lady at the front desk gave us 5000 points to compensate.

Friendly staff, quick check-in, quiet

The area was safe and the room was clean.

I was working in the area and stayed here the staff made me feel like family I would personally like to thank Barbra and Juan for their help

Had to stay here for work the staff treated me like family I will definitely stay here again

I have to say the staff at this facility is top notch. My grandchildren were swimming and their floaties needed to be inflated and while we couldn’t get it done the staff went above and beyond to try and help me. I WILL BE staying here again no doubt

It was excellent the receptionist Erica was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well furnished.

Clean rooms, quiet area

The breakfast options were ridiculously limited but they do have a make your own waffle station. Very clean and kitchen does have basic essentials like utensils and dishes.

The fire alarm went off both nights we stayed in the middle of the night for no reason

The staff was so helpful and courteous, if you needed anything they went out of their way to accommodate you. Im extended my stay a extra week.

Great staff

It was good price and room for the night. Close proximity to the amenities I needed. Room was spacious and clean.

Everyone was friendly would stay again

The Good: - The staff was great. Friendly, always greeted me. I appreciated that. - The breakfast was plentiful and good!! - The room was comfortable and spacious. - The location and convenience to I-295 and Rt 38 was great. The Not so Good - The refrigerator ice-maker didn't work and there isn't an ice machine on the premises that I could find. I had to go ask for some. The front desk attendant went and got me some. But, they said the ice-maker should be working. Nobody ever came to check it out. - There were no cups for water in the exercise room - The elliptical in the exercise room was broken the first night. It disappeared sometime on the second day of my stay after I asked about it. I used the treadmill the 4 nights I was in the gym2 - The TV channel selection was pretty limited. I would have liked to have more sports channel selections. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The issues were minor. I'd stay there again.
